General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) could be in grave danger thanks to a face from the past. GH viewers know Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) turned out to be pulling an elaborate trick on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) with Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) help.
Spinelli was able to make Peter believe he was speaking with Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) over the phone.
However, it looks like Towers filmed some actual scenes at home – setting up the possibility that Helena could truly be alive and well! That would be quite a twist to cap off this story, and it’s worth considering since it looks like Helena will ultimately be seen on camera.
General Hospital could leave the door open for Helena to wreak all kinds of havoc, even if they just set up a future stint.
Naturally, GH fans should think about the full implications of Helena’s potential survival. The consequences could extend far beyond just Peter. Since Helena has a penchant for killing or at least trying to kill her grandson’s love interests, Ava might be a target due to her marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
That’s especially true due to what Ava stands to gain if she were to finagle the Cassadine fortune away in a divorce. Helena wouldn’t want Ava taking what’s ultimately meant for Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel).
It’s easy to imagine Helena viewing Ava as a problem all around – a nuisance that needs to be wiped out and dealt with ASAP.
Ava’s already had a lot going on since she recently faced a blackmail threat, which was orchestrated by Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). That threat was more about teaching a lesson, but it was still a big mess for Ava.
Of course, Ava faced an even bigger mess once she learned Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was holding an incriminating letter over Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) head.
Now Ava has infuriated Ryan with the fake divorce papers and left him ready to blab to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Nevertheless, General Hospital spoilers say the scariest threat of all may still be to come. Ava herself could wind up in the deadly danger zone thanks to Helena’s decision to resurface.
Will Helena go after Ava or perhaps send some sort of lethal risk her way? Could Nikolas have to step up and play the hero for Ava once Helena peril strikes?
