General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, November 9, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will wonder what Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is trying to say. Finn’s in bad shape at GH and just whispered to Peter about how Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) wanted so much to be his mother.
That obviously didn’t make any sense to Peter, but everything will become clear in time. Peter just needs more information on all the Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) chaos first. Of course, Finn isn’t in any condition to do a ton of talking. In fact, Finn’s health will head downhill quickly due to the bullet Alex pumped in him.
Peter will wind up having to call for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) or any other nearby doc to help Finn. He’ll fret over the possibility that Anna will lose her fiancée, but he’ll fret over potentially losing his own, too.
Peter will be desperate for updates on Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who was led on to The Haunted Star. Alex has deluded herself into thinking Maxie is her guest, but Maxie obviously doesn’t feel that way about it!
Although Alex assured Maxie she wouldn’t hurt her or the baby, danger is about to erupt. That’s because Anna just arrived and is about to get into a major gun battle with Alex. There’ll be bullets flying as Maxie presumably panics, but it’s Alex who seems to be in the most peril here.
GH writers have offered dialogue clues about Alex’s potential death. Peter may have a complex view of the situation if Anna indeed shoots Alex dead. Although Peter couldn’t fault Anna for doing whatever was necessary to defend Maxie and her unborn child, Peter felt an immediate bond with Alex.
That’s Peter’s mother, so he could battle resentment if Anna takes her out.
While Anna and Alex have this final showdown, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will freak over Finn’s fight for his life. Chase will push Portia to tell him whether Finn’s going to survive, but Portia probably won’t be able to offer firm answers.
General Hospital spoilers say Chase will be a big ball of worries as he takes himself down to the chapel. It’ll be a waiting game at that point, so Chase will pray and try to stay optimistic. Next, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) will get an intriguing call from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). GH fans know Valentin narrowly escaped death after being drugged and stuck in an explosion trap.
Once Martin hears that news, Valentin will have a favor to ask. Martin won’t see how he would assist Valentin, but this sneaky Cassadine always has a trick or two up his sleeve. It won’t be long until Valentin’s checking out – either because he’s cleared or because he goes against his doctor’s advice.
Either way, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will corner Valentin and want every last detail of what’s gone on with Anna and Alex. Robert may hurl accusations, but Valentin’s only been trying to help Anna – and that should still be his goal on Monday.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) will see a glimmer of hope for his future with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Dev has been working hard to manipulate Josslyn as well as Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Now that Joss and Cam think they have no shot with each other, Dev will have an opportunity to win Josslyn over.
It appears Dev will bring up what he said to Josslyn on the night of the homecoming dance. Dev had a moment of honesty with Joss about seeing her in a new light.
On Monday, Dev will wonder if Josslyn wants him to retract that statement, but she’ll seem cool with it now. Josslyn might as well give Dev a chance since she assumes Cam’s not down for a romance.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place, he’ll be ready to grill Julian Jerome (William deVry) when a frantic Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) arrives. Sonny will let Ava in, so she’ll rant about Sonny having her brother dragged in there like a criminal.
Sonny will contend that he simply wants to ask Julian a few questions.
“You answer right, you go home happy! You answer wrong, you don’t go home!” Sonny booms in Monday’s GH preview clip. That’s a death threat if we’ve ever heard one!
Naturally, Sonny’s questions will relate to Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) info about Julian and Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).
Sonny knows Julian was trying to kill Nelle the night of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) kidnapping. It seems likely Sonny’s first question will be: Did you kidnap Wiley for Nelle?
Julian might lie his way out of that one and claim he met up with Nelle once she already had the tot.
Regardless, Sonny will assume Julian wanted to murder Nelle to get her off his back. He’ll wonder what Nelle used to blackmail Julian into marriage, though it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.
Sonny will probably demand to know if Julian knew about the baby switch and tried to help Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) keep Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) son.
No matter what Julian claims, Sonny may feel confident Julian is guilty. Ava will do her best to keep Julian alive, but she’ll have her work cut out for her since Sonny will be so livid.
Across town, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will get a brand-new cell phone. She’ll be apologetic about losing the old one, but she won’t realize it led to a startling realization for Ava.
Once Ava saw Taggert’s photo as the background, she recognized him as Taggert. Julian explained that the man he tussled with at Charlie’s Pub was the same one he brawled with on the pier.
Ava was left reeling over Taggert pretending to die and the toll that’s taken on Trina.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava will struggle now that she holds such a powerful secret in her hands. There are bound to be some awkward moments the next time Ava sees Trina, so we’ll see how she chooses to deal with this.
