Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is a woman of many secrets. As viewers are aware, Gwen has been scheming for weeks now against Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), and she’s in the process of getting her revenge by making sure that Abigail blows up the anniversary party for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain).
It’s going to be a horrible scene as Abigail “outs” Jack’s affair with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) back when Jennifer was in her coma, and it will be just as Gwen wants.
Gwen really has it out for Abigail and her family, and she’s had some help from Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay). Interestingly, Rolf seems completely cool with Gwen wreaking havoc on the Deverauxs.
But as Days of Our Lives viewers know, Gwen had to persuade Rolf not to blab about her scheme against Abigail’s family. Rolf wasn’t too happy to be going back to Statesville for another prison stint, but he agreed to go and keep quiet about Gwen’s plotting against Abigail…on one condition.
Rolf insisted that Gwen had to do a favor for him in exchange for his silence.
So, what was this big favor that Rolf wanted from Gwen? Well, one possibility is that Rolf wanted Gwen to change Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) DNA test. Exactly why Rolf would want the DNA test changed would be unclear at this point, but Rolf is always full of surprises, so you never know.
But there is another possibility for what Rolf may have had in mind for Gwen. Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that Rolf was captured after nearly performing a horrible procedure on Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans).
Rolf was about to implant a cloned embryo of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) into Kayla womb, but thankfully Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) came along in the nick of time and saved Kayla from a horrible fate.
We’re not so sure that Rolf is entirely willing to give up on his dream of cloning Stefano, though. What if Rolf demanded that Gwen become the surrogate to carry Stefano’s embryo to term?
Rolf could have told Gwen where to find the embryo and to make things happen. It’s a little far-fetched, but this is Days of Our Lives, so you never know what might be possible!
And Gwen would actually have a good cover story for her pregnancy. Gwen could tell everyone that she’s pregnant and that it’s Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) baby, which would be entirely plausible, since she and Jake were together fairly recently.
And then later, Gwen could reveal to the world that she’s actually carrying a brand-new version of Stefano.
It will be interesting to see if Gwen does turn up pregnant and carrying that cloned embryo. It certainly sounds like something that Rolf would demand, and Gwen seems willing to do anything to bring the Deveraux family down, so you never know!
