Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that viewers will be in for a special week on the NBC soap. The new DOOL promo for the week of November 16th is out, and it previews a lot of action in store for viewers, starting with a quickly put together but long-awaited wedding – the wedding of Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
The promo shows Belle happily telling John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that she and Shawn are getting married. John and Marlena looked thrilled, and John is heard saying that he gets to walk his beautiful daughter down the aisle.
It looks like Belle and Shawn will have a traditional wedding with all the trimmings, and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will ask Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) to be her date.
Charlie will accept the invitation, and that will lead to some humorous moments as Charlie ends up getting grilled by both John and Shawn before the nuptials begin.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say both Claire’s grandfather and her dad will quiz Charlie about his background and motives. “What exactly are your intentions with my daughter?” Shawn will fire at Charlie. “And did I mention that I’m a cop?”
Poor Charlie – we know that he tends to get flustered rather easily, so he’s really going to be on the spot.
The weekly preview next addresses the ongoing problems that Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) are having related to Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape allegation against Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).
It looks like things will get rather heated between Kayla and Steve during the week of November 16th, as Kayla is shown telling Steve, “You think that Tripp is telling the truth and I don’t. Like mother, like son!”
That’s probably not going to go over too well with Steve, who wholeheartedly believes that Tripp is telling the truth and that there’s got to be some other explanation for the DNA test results.
Speaking of Tripp’s mom, viewers will see more of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braum) in the coming week, as she continues to meet on the sly with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and tries to keep him on task at Titan Industries.
But what neither Philip nor Ava will know is that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is on their trail. The promo shows Sarah following Philip incognito and reporting back to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
Sarah will follow Philip to a room, where Ava will answer the door. Sarah will see the whole thing, apparently, but Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that she won’t immediately know who Ava is.
Sarah will manage to snap a picture of Philip with Ava, though, and it probably won’t be long before she shows the picture to Xander, who will immediately realize who they’re dealing with.
Next, the promo addresses the blowup that’s going to occur between Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). As viewers know, Lani has just appeared on Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) doorstep and demanded to know what secret Eli is keeping from her.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Brady will spill the truth about Eli blackmailing Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) into confessing.
The promo shows Lani confronting Eli about secret and telling him that she recorded him talking about the secret with Abe Carver (James Reynolds). It appears that at that point, Eli will confess, and Lani’s going to be furious! Hopefully, Eli and Lani will be able to work this out.
Finally, the new Days of Our Lives promo shows a fierce confrontation between Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) and Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
Jennifer and Kate will run into each other in the park, which will prompt Jennifer to lash out at Kate for her one-night stand with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) back when Jennifer was in her coma.
“You got your hooks into Jack!” Jennifer fumes at Kate in the promo. “His heart was completely into everything we were doing,” Kate fires back. “Along with the rest of his body!” And with that, Jennifer hauls off and slaps Kate big time. The question now is whether Kate will walk away or fight back!
