Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, December 7 Recap - Philip’s Onto Sarah - Abe Helps Allie - Ava Bargains For A Deal

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, December 7, reveal that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) sat for a conversation in town square.

Chloe shared that she was back in Salem and took a job at Basic Black, and she inquired about Philip’s relationship with Mimi Lockhart (Farah Fath). Philip tried to skirt the issue, but eventually Chloe made him talk about it.

Philip said that while he liked how he and Chloe started to get to know each other again in New York, he freaked out thinking that he’d get hurt again, then picked up things with Mimi.

Philip said that he and Mimi went to poker parties and that he should have said no to that, and that he lost all the money he had and money that he didn’t have. Chloe wondered if Philip came back to Titan to dig himself out of a hole.

Philip pretended like he just wanted to come back and set things right with his family, but Chloe suspected there was something else to it. Philip said that Chloe knew him well, and that he didn’t want to talk about it.

After some more reminiscing about old times, Chloe and Philip parted ways as Philip walked Chloe into the Salem Inn.

Inside the Salem Inn, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) examined the contents of the flash drive containing files from Philip’s computer.

Xander concluded that the information was helpful, but that he needed more to convince Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) that Philip was cooking the books. After she and Xander made love, Sarah took off and headed outside. Philip was in town square and saw Sarah, which made him suspicious.

At the Brady Pub, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) caught up on recent goings-on in Salem. Abe and Roman discussed how Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) was mad at both Abe and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), and about how Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) wasn’t charged with rape.

Soon, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) walked in and lamented about how she gave Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) an ultimatum about Tripp needing to move out.

Over at Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment, Nicole pulled up a picture of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) on her phone, and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) confirmed that was the woman who disarmed her when she was holding Tripp at gunpoint.

Nicole reeled and wanted to call the police, but Allie said that if she turned in Ava, then Ava might disclose how she held Tripp at gunpoint.

Nicole decided to call Abe for help. Abe answered while he was still over at the Brady Pub with Kayla and Roman, and he agreed to head over to Nicole’s place.

Abe arrived and promptly learned about Ava being alive and what happened over at Steve and Kayla’s place. Abe wasn’t pleased, but he agreed to help protect Allie and he suggested that they needed to wait to see what Ava was going to do.

Back at the Brady Pub, Roman and Kayla talked a bit more about Kayla’s ultimatum to Steve. Kayla then got a page from the hospital and had to rush off. Kayla was relieved that she didn’t have to return home just yet.

At Steve and Kayla’s place, Steve was horrified to see Ava standing in the living room. Ava was happy to see Steve, but Steve promptly blurted out that he wished she was still dead, and he figured that Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) had something to do with this.

Ava took an attitude, and Tripp told his mother that the things she did to Steve and Kayla weren’t funny and that she should pipe down.

Steve wanted to go to the police so that Joey Johnson (James Lastovic) could go free, but Ava said there were some things they needed to discuss before taking this to the next level.

“I’m willing to help Joey get out of prison if you make sure I don’t end up there, either,” Ava said, throwing in a threat by saying that she had the resources to retaliate.

Steve again said that he wished Ava were dead, and Tripp explained that if Ava was dead, then he’d probably be dead too. Off-screen, Steve learned about Allie holding the gun on Tripp, which prompted Steve to go grab a beer and start drinking.

Ava presumed that Allie wouldn’t go to the cops, and she said that she wouldn’t tell a soul about what Allie did if Steve helped her. Steve pointed out that Kayla was Ava’s victim, so it will be Kayla’s call.
