General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that two characters could find themselves on a romantic collision course. GH fans know Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was abruptly written off the show, so that leaves Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) without a love interest.
Although Dante plans to wait for Lulu, he could be waiting a long time.
It’s reasonable to think General Hospital might find someone else to pair Dante with until Lulu returns – whenever that may be! Meanwhile, we’ve got Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who’s poised for serious heartache after her relationship with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) falls apart.
Maxie believes Peter has truly turned his life around and plans to spend the rest of her life with him.
Once Maxie realizes Peter’s been keeping so many wicked things under wraps, she’ll feel like this whole romance has been a lie. Maxie will need someone she trusts to lean on – and she won’t have her bestie to talk to.
Lulu’s absence will leave a void that Dante could easily fill. Dante cares about Maxie and will be missing Lulu just as much. Since we know Dante’s on this mission to bring Peter down, he may be the one who opens Maxie’s eyes to Peter, too.
Maxie may have so many reasons to bond with Dante in the months ahead.
Dante could be the hero who shows her Peter’s true colors and saves Maxie from letting a monster raise her children. Speaking of children, wouldn’t it be nice for Dante and Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan) to form a blended family with Maxie and her kids?
It could become a reality if Dante and Maxie comfort each other down the road.
Naturally, this isn’t the kind of thing that’d happen overnight. It could start as a strengthening friendship and two lonely parents who help each other out. Maxie and Dante might not even realize they were falling hard, but they could ultimately accept their feelings for each other.
Doesn’t that sound like the perfect setup for Lulu’s return? Once Maxie and Dante are genuinely in love and in a committed relationship, that’d be the perfect moment for Lulu to awaken and come back to complicate the situation! We’ll offer updates as other GH news rolls in.
