Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, December 24, tease that it’ll be Christmas Day in Salem. The Christmas Eve gathering at the Horton house had to be cut a bit short due to Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) going into labor – and she’s in for a long night! Fortunately, it won’t be long until morning comes and Lani’s ready to bring two beautiful babies into the world.
Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will assure Lani that she’s a warrior and can do this. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will eventually give birth to her twins – a boy and a girl.
DOOL fans can expect Valerie Grant (Vanessa A. Williams) to arrive just in time to meet her new grandbabies along with a delighted Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
Of course, Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will also get a chance to bond with their new little ones. Thanks to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug Williams’ (Doug Davidson) sneaky holiday tricks, Eli and Lani have reconciled for Christmas.
Days spoilers say Lani, Eli, Abe, Valerie and the twins will all come together for some peace on earth this year!
Meanwhile, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will get a visit from Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), so it looks like he’ll exchange Christmas gifts with his dad. Alas, there should be no sign of Tripp’s mom.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is being held captive in Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) apartment, but Tripp has no clue where Ava might’ve gone or what she’s doing.
Since Ava’s missing Christmas, Tripp should grow increasingly concerned about her. At first, Tripp thought he might’ve hurt Ava’s feelings by staying for Joey Johnson’s (James Lastovic) homecoming dinner instead of rushing right back to her place.
Steve admitted Ava could be “hypersensitive,” but Tripp’s bound to start thinking there’s more to the story since Ava still won’t be home.
As for Joey, he’ll stop by the pub to see Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). Roman will be glad to see Joey out of prison and may ask him the question Joey’s already been facing: What’s next?
Joey will need some help to decide his future on Thursday, so it seems Roman and Steve will help him out with some useful advice.
Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will also bring Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) to the pub so Roman can hold him. That’ll lead to some awkward moments since Steve, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Joey will all be there as well.
Joey decided he believes Tripp, but he may assure Allie that he’s sorry about what she went through.
Of course, Days viewers know there’s already plenty of tension between Steve and Lucas. It seems likely Steve will get out of there as quick as he can to avoid a Christmas fight from breaking out.
Steve will eventually play “Patchy Claus” at the hospital’s holiday party, so that’ll be fun for all the sick kids – and for Kayla, who’ll be eager to get steamy with Santa later!
Back with Joey, he’ll make an announcement about that future decision we mentioned. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will also get on a Zoom call with Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney).
DOOL fans can expect Allie to make an emotional confession and Days of Our Lives spoilers say she’ll come clean about the assault resulting in Henry’s conception and everything else she’s been keeping from her mom.
Sami will respond with compassion and assure Allie that she’ll help in any way she can. Allie will feel the love as Sami insists there’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her daughter.
