Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, December 30, tease that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will have a couple more Salemites to catch up with around town. First, it looks like Will’s going to drop off some belated Christmas gifts at Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) place.
This could lead to Will offering a pep talk about true love and how it can conquer all obstacles. That’s something Will has experienced firsthand with Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith), so he’ll have faith that Jack and Jennifer can move past their issues, too.
Later, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Will will make it back to the Kiriakis mansion, where he’ll have a sweet conversation with Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers). That exchange may offer another reminder of the importance of love and keeping it alive – just as Maggie’s been able to do with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
As the night winds down, Will’s going to get on a video chat with Sonny and ring in the new year with his husband. Although Sonny and Will can’t share a kiss at midnight, they can at least count their blessings and look forward to another year of love together.
Freddie Smith will appear via footage he shot in his own Florida home, but Sonny will obviously be back in Arizona as he toasts to 2021 with Will.
Other Days spoilers say Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will pressure Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) until he cracks. Jake laughed in disbelief when Abigail accused him of sleeping with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), but he’ll end up making a full confession on Wednesday.
As for Jennifer, she’ll arrive and find Jack at the New Year’s Eve bash with Kate. Jack may panic and insist nothing’s going on, but Jennifer will surprise her husband by admitting she’s taking him back.
Jennifer and Jack can’t fight fate, so they’ll officially patch things up and try to put Jack’s mistake with Kate behind them.
Over with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), he’ll seethe with jealousy when he spots Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). DOOL fans know there was some confusion when Chloe offered her two tickets for the New Year’s Eve party.
Philip mistakenly thought Chloe was asking him to go with her, but Chloe insisted she wasn’t attending. She was merely offering her pair of tickets to Philip so he could take Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), who also turned Philip down.
Philip should be confused all over again when he sees Chloe enjoying New Year’s Eve with Brady. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chloe and Brady will make matters worse by kissing after the midnight countdown – though they’ll claim it’s just a platonic smooch.
Of course, the kiss won’t exactly look like one between friends, not that friends should really be sharing New Year’s Eve kisses anyway! Unfortunately, someone will take a pic of Chloe and Brady’s kiss for the newspaper – and that newspaper will land in Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) hands at Statesville next week.
In the meantime, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will keep up her manipulation of Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Gwen lied to Chad about Jake taking back the bracelet for the person he really bought it for: Abigail. Kate was actually the intended bracelet recipient, but Gwen’s pleased to know Chad’s buying all this.
Chad will buy the romantic setup at the Salem Inn as well. After Gwen lies to Chad about Abigail making the arrangements, Chad will be more convinced than ever that Abigail’s having an affair with Jake. Both Chad and Gwen will end up in that suite, where Gwen will act like she’s so sorry about Chad’s heartbreak.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will chug some Champagne and accept Gwen’s kiss, so things will start to heat up! Later this week, Gwen will be naked under the sheets with passed out Chad – though time will tell whether this is a scene Gwen stages or the aftermath of a real encounter.
