General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) took a huge risk by moving Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott), to an unknown location. Not only did Carly risk Cyrus retaliating against the Corinthos clan, she’s gambling with Florence’s health here.
Florence wasn’t doing well to begin with, but Cyrus had her tucked away in that quiet house on Wilson Avenue in Oregon. Once Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) realized someone Cyrus cared about was in that house, he tipped Cyrus off to what he knew.
That led to Cyrus moving Florence to a Vermont facility, but he ultimately wanted Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to follow the trail. Now Carly has forced Florence to move yet again. Although Florence is surely getting quality care elsewhere, this was undoubtedly a stressful, traumatic experience for her.
In fact, this is the kind of thing that could take a deadly toll on poor Florence. Even if Florence is eventually found or returned, General Hospital spoilers say that’ll mean yet another transfer. Cyrus will probably want to put Florence in a truly secure facility this time around – one that nobody could ever find.
It’s just an awful lot of travel for someone who’s not really up to it. Florence could easily take a turn for the worse soon enough. Could Florence die and leave Cyrus devastated? Can you imagine just how furious Cyrus would be? GH fans would see Cyrus unleash his wrath like never before!
Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might face the mess of the century if Florence’s health rapidly declines even further. Cyrus would certainly place blame and seek vengeance.
There’s no predicting how far Cyrus would go to avenge his mother’s death. Cyrus might plot to take out as many Corinthos family members as possible.
Regardless, Florence is indeed quite ill – and this plan of Carly’s isn’t going to help her condition. SOD recently put Annie Abbott in the “who’s going” section and stated that she last aired on December 21.
Although Abbott could reprise her role as Florence, it’s interesting that they went to the trouble of revealing that particular stint was over.
