The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 11, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will feel the need to play referee. Y&R fans know Nikki certainly has issues with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and always expects him to be Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) problem child.
However, Nikki’s starting to see fighting within the family that isn’t related to Adam – and that’s not something she can deal with. Nikki won’t like seeing her perfect angels Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) clashing with each other.
As Victoria and Nick’s feud heats up on Monday, Nikki will grow concerned and try to help them end the war.
Of course, Nikki may place most of the blame on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) since she’s the reason Nick and Victoria are battling it out. Even so, Nikki will feel like Nick and Victoria could both stand to grow up.
Nikki will want the sparring siblings to act like mature adults, but that’s not going to happen as long as Victoria keeps making petty moves against Phyllis. It sounds like Nikki’s plan to settle Victoria and Nick’s dispute will fail, but that won’t stop her from hoping the tension lifts eventually.
In the meantime, Phyllis will track Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) down and demand the flash drive they discussed – the one that could offer serious leverage on Victoria and destroy her career if used properly.
Unfortunately, Kevin wasn’t so keen on Phyllis’ blackmail plot the last time they talked. After mulling it over, Kevin will think it’s an even worse idea than before! He’ll want no part of this, but Phyllis will push all the right buttons and try to bring out Kevin’s old dark side.
Phyllis might suggest that Kevin has been so good lately. Wouldn’t it be nice to be just a tiny bit bad? Kevin loves his life, but he’s become a boring suburban dad at this point. Phyllis might argue that this is Kevin’s chance to live a little and help her out in the process.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will score a big win and get what she needs to use against Victoria next week. That could mean Kevin will surrender, but something tells us he might regret it later! As other Y&R news and updates emerge, we’ll fill you in.
