Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) past will come back to haunt him in a surprising way. DOOL fans know Xander’s done his fair share of scheming over the years. It wasn’t that long ago that Xander helped Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) carry out a baby swap plot.
Xander threatened Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) as part of that plot, but Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) solved the mystery and exposed the connection. It’s that connection that’ll come back to bite Xander during the week of January 18-22.
Since it turns out Dr. Raynor is involved in the snatching of Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) twins, it’s easy to see why Xander will fall under suspicion. That’s especially true since Xander’s been known to kidnap people before – even children.
Days viewers will recall that Xander snatched Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander) to help Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) carry out a scheme of her own. That was back when Kristen wore a Nicole mask and let everyone think Holly was dead.
Xander also stole Rachel Black (Josephine and Rosalind May) so she could be swapped with Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) dead baby.
After Dr. Raynor’s role in the kidnapping comes to light, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will start thinking about who might be in cahoots with her. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will quickly land on the suspect list.
It won’t be long until Rafe corners Xander and insists on taking him down to the Salem PD for a grilling session.
It doesn’t sound like Rafe will be able to make an arrest under the circumstances. Rafe will just be going off Xander’s old pattern of behavior and his previous link to Dr. Raynor. Nevertheless, Rafe will make it clear that Xander had better come with him or there’s going to be trouble.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will end up in the interrogation room with Rafe, who’ll hurl plenty of questions at him. Xander will tackle all of them and most likely argue that he had nothing to do with this.
It looks like Xander will be telling the truth this time around. There’s no reason for Xander to go after Lani and Eli’s babies.
It’s also doubtful Dr. Raynor would’ve agreed to work with Xander again. Besides, Xander’s usually the kind of guy who does the kidnapping himself when there’s a need for it! Xander is the muscle of operations like that, not the brains.
Days spoilers say Xander may point all that out to Rafe and convince him to look elsewhere for the culprit. Although Xander apparently won’t be tied to this case at all, maybe he can help. Rafe might be eager to learn whatever Xander can tell him about Dr. Raynor and her background.
Xander might provide some clues that help Rafe track Dr. Raynor down. Rafe could at least get a step closer to figuring out who Dr. Raynor’s secret boss is. Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) is the most logical kidnapping mastermind, but we’ll see how the rest of this hot plot plays out!
