The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, January 28, reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) continued their conversation in the Forrester Creations CEO office.
Ridge noted that when he brings up Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), Paris gets uncomfortable, and he wondered why.
Paris cryptically said that she and Zoe saw things differently, and just then Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) walked in and interrupted. Carter was looking for Zoe, since she wasn’t answering her texts.
Carter gushed about how he and Zoe were going to set a wedding date tonight, and he mentioned that Ridge was his best man.
After Carter took off, Ridge put Paris on the spot, saying that Carter was happy. “Do you think Zoe feels the same way?” Ridge probed. Paris sighed, and Ridge said that whatever was bothering him was clearly bothering Paris, too. “What’s going on with Zoe? Ridge said pointedly. Paris stood there quietly.
“Is Carter being played?” Ridge asked. “Zende’s at the mansion, Zoe’s nowhere to be found. Tell me where she is,” Ridge demanded. Paris said that she wasn’t sure, and Ridge told her to see herself out as he walked out the door angrily.
Later, Paris tried unsuccessfully to text Zoe as Carter walked back in the room and gushed about how tonight was going to be a big night for himself and Zoe.
Meanwhile, over at the Forrester mansion, Zoe told Zende that they had been fighting the attraction for too long, and that it was now or never. “This can’t happen!” Zende fumed.
Zoe said that she didn’t want to hurt anyone by making the wrong choice. Zende said that he couldn’t do this, because he had to be able to live with himself.
“I’m sorry, there can be no future for us,” Zende said. “You’re engaged to Carter, and that’s the reality.” Zoe persisted, saying that their spark was getting stronger and that this was their only chance.
“I want one night with you before I commit to Carter – I want to know what it would be like.” Zende flatly refused, yelling that he wouldn’t betray Carter.
Just then, Ridge walked into the mansion and started overhearing the conversation. Zoe continued on, saying that they needed to let go and give into their feelings, and Zende continued to refuse, saying that Zoe was engaged to Carter.
Zoe persisted relentlessly, and she insisted that they needed to find out now while they still have the chance.
With that, Zoe moved toward Zende to kiss him, but Zende took a step back. Ridge then intervened. “That’s enough!” Ridge bellowed. “What’s happening here? What did I walk in on?”
At Spencer Publications, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) reminisced about his earlier conversation with Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) walked in and offered Bill a little advice.
Flo and Wyatt heard all about what Bill told Katie, and Flo said that if she heard all that from him in the same situation, then she’d be inclined to take him back.
Over at Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) mansion, Katie arrived and spoke to Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). Katie wanted some sisterly advice, and she revealed that she was thinking about going back to Bill.
Katie told Donna everything that Bill said to her, and she said that she still loved Bill. “But can I open my heart again and trust him? I don’t know,” Katie lamented.
Katie told Donna that she needed a man to put her first, especially over Brooke. Later, Bill called Katie to thank her for dropping by earlier that day.
Bill said that he didn’t mean to put pressure on Katie, and that he just wanted to let her know that she had been heard earlier, and he again asked Katie for one more chance.
