General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will battle some strong emotions as he continues to deal with his mother’s crisis. GH fans know Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) still blames Cyrus for the death of his father, Gordon Grey.
However, that hasn’t stopped Cyrus from craving Florence’s approval and loving her anyway.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) definitely attacked Cyrus’ weak spot by kidnapping Florence, but she pressed the ultimate button, too. Cyrus isn’t going to just wait around on his mom forever.
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will grow increasingly impatient during February sweeps, so he’ll make some bold moves and demands.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is working for Jason while pretending to work for Cyrus, so that leaves him in a terrible predicament. General Hospital viewers know Cyrus has leverage on the Corinthos clan and could create some serious drama due to his Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) knowledge.
Cyrus is saving that info for when he really needs it, but the threat is still something that’ll weigh on Brando and keep him in line. However, it seems Cyrus may deliver a deadly order that will force Brando to make a terrible choice.
Jason’s plan is for Carly to have Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) declared dead followed by a funeral. That way, they can send a message that they’re not waiting for Sonny to come home. Jason is in charge now, so he needs to prove he’s running the show.
Unfortunately, February sweeps spoilers indicate a deadly target will be placed on Jason’s back – one that may stop Jason from taking over Sonny’s position like he intends to. Cyrus has tried to kill Jason more than once. The goal was to eliminate Jason first so the path to kill Sonny would be clear.
Now Sonny has been presumed dead and Jason is the new Sonny. This gives Cyrus even more motivation to kill Jason, especially after what’s happened with his mother. Cyrus’ temper is flaring up and he won’t be able to handle this indefinitely.
Cyrus may determine that with Sonny and Jason dead, Carly would be too scared of losing someone else she loves to hurt Florence. Besides, there’s a difference between an innocent old lady and someone who’s taking over a mob organization. Deep down, Cyrus must know Florence won’t be harmed.
General Hospital spoilers say Brando’s loyalty will be put to the test in some surprising new ways. Cyrus may hope he can force Brando to kill Jason – both to get Jason out of the way and to make sure Brando is truly on his side.
Since Cyrus knows Brando has a soft spot for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), he might even threaten to kill her instead if Brando doesn’t come through on this. Brando will face a dangerous dilemma in the coming weeks, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens next.
Jason obviously isn’t going to die, but Cyrus will certainly fight hard for that outcome! He won’t want Jason to officially take over Sonny’s role, so major drama’s about to erupt.
