Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, February 9, tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will struggle to believe his ears. Xander just walked in on Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) conversation with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), who insisted Philip doesn’t have to look for another job.
Since Xander assumed Philip was on his way out the door, this news will certainly set him off.
DOOL viewers can expect Xander to lash out at both Victor and Philip on Tuesday. He won’t understand how Victor can possibly let Philip remain a co-CEO after all the mob danger and money laundering drama. After all, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) was nearly killed as a result of Philip’s actions.
Nevertheless, Victor will be adamant about giving Philip another chance. Xander will let his rage fuel an impulsive decision moments later. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will announce that he quits, so he’ll be the one looking for a new job by choice.
Xander just won’t think he can handle working with Philip any longer, especially when Victor’s always going to prefer his own son and give Philip passes.
After Xander meets up with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) later, he’ll offer updates on his decision to leave Titan and get her full support.
Sarah might even think it’ll be good for Xander to get away from such fierce competition since it tends to bring out the worst in him. Speaking of fierce competition, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is growing increasingly concerned about Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) bond with Brady.
Kristen needs a new strategy to stop Brady and Chloe from getting any closer, but she’s about to get some help.
After Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) shows up at Kristen’s request, they’ll have an interesting chat at Statesville.
Days spoilers say Kristen will explain her desire to come between Brady and Chloe, but Susan will wonder how Kristen’s going to do that since she’s stuck behind bars. Kristen will insist that’s where Susan comes in.
It’s possible Kristen will want to push this plan even further somewhere down the line and switch places with Susan, but for now it seems she’ll just want Kristen to be her spy on the outside.
Susan is weird anyway, so she can lurk and ask questions without raising too many red flags. Unusual behavior is the norm when it comes to wacky Susan, so Kristen will count on her scheme working.
In the meantime, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chloe will make Brady an offer he can’t refuse. She’ll want to be there for Brady as he recovers, so he’ll eventually take Chloe up on it.
Although Brady may be reluctant to impose at first, he’ll understand that he does need help and will appreciate Chloe’s willingness to give it.
Other Days spoilers state that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will hit the roof over Laura Horton’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) arrival at her suite.
Laura will want to apologize for paying off Tiffany Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and explain her side of the story, but furious Gwen will have an explosive outburst. In that moment, all the anger Gwen’s stored up over the years will be unleashed on Laura.
After Gwen grabs her new worst enemy, Laura will warn Gwen to unhand her and will do her best to get away. It looks like Laura may take a tumble after a struggle with Gwen – one that leads to her death!
Days of Our Lives spoilers point to Laura’s grim fate, which will leave Gwen freaking in the aftermath by Wednesday.
