General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) bound to have a miserable Valentine’s Day behind bars. Brad thankfully survived the attack from Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) prison minions – and once Julian Jerome (William deVry) was gone, so was the threat to Brad’s life.
Cyrus has moved on and is currently dealing with some mama drama since Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) is still in the Corinthos clan’s clutches. It’s good that Brad’s no longer on Cyrus’ radar, but he’ll face a different kind of problem in the coming weeks.
Brad is still serving out his sentence at Pentonville, so that’s enough to leave him feeling hopeless. However, Brad has also lost Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) and the family they once had with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Deep down, Brad may be clinging to hope that he can reunite with Lucas and try again one day. Of course, life goes on even when GH characters get locked up. Lucas has been throwing himself into work, but something’s about to happen that could be a game-changer.
General Hospital spoilers say there’ll be a big misunderstanding for Lucas on Valentine’s Day. There’ll be some situation that causes Lucas to get the wrong idea, so we’re betting this will involve matters of the heart.
Perhaps Lucas will mistakenly assume Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) has sent him flowers or something along those lines.
The reason we’re bringing Felix into this is because General Hospital spoilers confirm that Lucas and Felix will strengthen their friendship during February sweeps. It seems likely that whatever Valentine’s Day misunderstanding GH writers have in mind will kick that off.
This could lead to Lucas and Felix reconnecting while poor, glum Brad is stuck cooped up in his cell.
Brad may end up convincing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to spy for him and offer updates on everything that’s happening at GH. As Felix and Lucas get closer, Brad’s not going to be pleased.
Brad deserved to pay for the baby swap and all the cover-up chaos, but it’s still a shame Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) dragged him into such a mess.
Although Brad should’ve been smart enough to turn down Nelle’s baby switch idea, she was obviously the ringleader who pushed for the swap to even happen.
Now Brad’s stuck paying the price – and he’ll worry it could be an even steeper one if Lucas and Felix find love that lasts. Regardless, Valentine’s Day in Port Charles will bring some tricky scenarios including Lucas misreading a situation with what could be comical results.
Will Brad find a way to shorten his sentence and get out to fight for Lucas? Other PC residents have been able to score early releases in the past, so there’s no reason they can’t give one to Brad!
It’d be great to see Brad back in town for some fun scenes with Britt and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), too. As other GH news rolls in, we’ll keep you in the loop. General Hospital spoilers say Brad’s poised to have a blue Valentine’s Day.
