The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, February 15, teases that the drama will pick back up in Genoa City. After a string of preemptions, Y&R will resume with a new episode on Monday according to the show’s official Twitter account. Let’s talk about what fans have to look forward to.
For starters, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be uneasy over the situation with Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). After Phyllis tells Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Kyle dragging Summer off to talk, she’ll worry about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Sally is someone who pretends to be everybody’s friend according to Phyllis, but Phyllis won’t trust her at all. She’ll call Sally “thirsty” and talk about how obsessed Sally is with being the center of attention.
Nick will get updates on Sally going after Summer’s job as well as Kyle, though Phyllis will confess that Summer said she handled it.
Nick will be a bit concerned since Summer’s been down the road of disappointment with Kyle before, but he’ll try to stay optimistic. Phyllis will be offered a steamy distraction, but she’ll struggle to shake the feeling that something’s wrong in “Skyle’s” world.
Meanwhile, Kyle will take Summer back to the Abbott house for a private discussion. Since Kyle will be on edge over what he’s about to reveal, Summer will promise they’re going to be fine. She’ll feel confident they can handle whatever issue has come up.
Kyle will nervously mention Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) brief return trip to Genoa City, which results in yet another bombshell and new leverage for Sally. As Kyle hesitates on spilling more, Summer will wonder if he doesn’t trust her. She’ll imply that Kyle needs to have faith in them as a couple.
Kyle will finally disclose at least part of the story when he explains his affair with Tara Locke, who was married to a much older mogul. It all started as one wild night in the Hamptons, but it turned into an ongoing thing and became pretty intense.
Kyle will acknowledge that he only got involved with Tara as a way to get over Summer, but he eventually thought he’d fallen in love with her. However, Kyle moved on in the end – and Tara went down her own path, too. Once Summer hears these details, she just won’t find the secret all that damaging.
An affair isn’t a great thing to have, but it’s not earth-shattering either. That’s particularly true since this happened a few years ago, and Summer won’t think there’s any proof.
Of course, Y&R fans know there’s indeed proof according to Theo. Kyle allegedly has a three-year-old son named Harrison with Tara, but he won’t fill Summer in on that crucial detail.
Kyle will, however, explain that this info could pack a punch. Tara’s husband is a cruel mogul named Ashland Locke, which is a name that’ll be somewhat familiar to Summer.
Since Ashland doesn’t know Kyle’s the man Tara cheated with, he’ll insist it could mean bad news if the truth gets out.
Kyle will refuse to go public with anything related to the affair since Ashland could destroy his life and the lives of people he cares about. Summer will still want to go after Sally, who now knows about the cheating, but Kyle will argue it’d be better to leave the situation alone.
Kyle will view this as a stalemate since Sally can’t blow things up without blowing things up for herself, too.
Summer will seethe since she wants to rip Sally to shreds and won’t understand why Kyle’s acting like he’s not worthy of defending. Y&R spoilers say Summer will remind Kyle that they’re a team – an unsinkable one!
Although Summer will agree to sit on this affair shocker, she’ll make it clear that Sally’s going to pay eventually. There’ll be a day of reckoning, so Summer will cling to that.
At Society, Sally will flirt with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and buy him a drink. Jack will toast to Sally and gush over how she astonishes him. After Jack praises all Sally’s amazing qualities, their conversation will shift to travel.
Sally will comment on how all the places Jack’s mentioned are on her bucket list, so Jack will tease her about convincing Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E Bregman) to open Fenmore’s locations in all those cities.
After Sally hints that she could use someone to show her around, Jack will seem a bit uncomfortable.
Jack will contend that sometimes it’s best to explore alone, so Sally will decide to wrap up this chat. Even so, Sally will sincerely hope they can meet up again sometime.
She’ll leave Jack looking like he’s beating himself up for developing feelings for Sally. Jack’s developing a dilemma here since he won’t want to cross the line, but his attraction is obviously growing.
Next, Sally will strut in The Grand Phoenix lobby and turn on the charm with Nick. Sally will recall reading Restless Style when she was younger and loving it.
Nick will seem somewhat flattered before Sally brags about the promotion Lauren gave her. Phyllis won’t be impressed and will be annoyed when Sally hints about talking to Kyle frequently.
Sally will also bring Phyllis up to speed on Jack sharing in her joy over this promotion. Phyllis will suggest it’s odd that an important CEO like Jack would be invested in a lowly assistant’s fate.
Once Sally asks if Summer’s talked to Phyllis about her, Phyllis will wonder if there’s any reason her daughter should. Sally will guess not before heading on her way.
After Phyllis is alone with Nick, she’ll make it clear that Sally will regret coming to GC if she dares to hurt Summer.
As for Summer and Kyle, they’ll show up looking like they’re full of secrets – but they’ll pretend it’s all good when Phyllis and Nick grill them. Naturally, Phyllis won’t be satisfied until she learns what’s really going on.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will show up with groceries and hope they can cook together instead of going out.
After their meal, Amanda will reflect on getting the recipe from a foster mom she really liked. Her foster dad couldn’t get her out of the picture fast enough, but the woman was caring and slipped that recipe in Amanda’s suitcase before she left.
Devon will also do some opening up in Monday’s episode. He’ll admit to being resentful back when he lost his hearing, which left him with some serious anger issues.
Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) name will come up, which will make things a little awkward for Devon. He won’t mention sleeping with Elena during the ice storm, but he’ll let Amanda know things are good between them now.
After Devon drops a hint about making Amanda breakfast in the morning, she’ll saunter over toward the staircase and wonder what he’s waiting for. Devon will soon follow Amanda up the stairs so they can make love in the bedroom.
On Elena’s tropical trip with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), everything will be going well until Elena makes an epic blunder. Nate will talk about how he’s always thinking of Elena and just wants to make her happy.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will tell “Devon” that he makes her heart so full, but she’ll catch herself moments later.
Elena will be deeply sorry for calling Nate the wrong name, but he’ll fear that perhaps Devon is still in Elena’s heart – even subconsciously. Nate will suspect that maybe Elena wishes she could go back and do things over with her ex.
Nevertheless, Elena will do her best to reassure Nate that she’s right where she wants to be. She’ll work to distract Nate with lovemaking – and it’ll work for now. Y&R fans can expect more problems on this getaway in Tuesday’s episode, so stay tuned for Elena’s upcoming cheating confession.
Until then, Monday’s show will be packed with excitement and fun moments. The Young and the Restless spoilers say it’ll be a great show to kick off the week, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for the hottest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so check back often.
