General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, February 15, tease that a new episode is finally scheduled to air on the ABC soap. There have been several preemptions lately, but GH’s official Twitter account insists they’re “cautiously optimistic” about being able to move forward.
If all goes well, Monday will bring some new drama for fans to tune in for. Let’s dive in and see what’s happening in Monday’s show.
It’ll be the day of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) funeral, so viewers will see his loved ones preparing for the tough gathering. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be particularly torn up about going through with the memorial service.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be there to assure Carly that she’s a survivor and can get through this if she takes it one step at a time.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will have some comforting words for his remorseful mom. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will blame herself for robbing Dante and Sonny of time together.
Olivia will insist it’s her fault that Dante didn’t know Sonny was his father sooner, but Dante won’t see the point in dwelling on what’s behind them.
Dante will suggest that perhaps he came together with Sonny at just the right time. While Dante and Olivia bond over the loss they’re feeling, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will help Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) get ready.
Once Willow makes a suggestion regarding Michael’s tie, they’ll talk about how Willow is still family and arranged to miss class to be at the funeral.
After Willow accepts Michael’s offer to move in the Quartermaine gatehouse, they’ll enjoy some sweet banter – including a joke about Michael being Willow’s ex-husband. There’ll still be a sparkle in their eyes as Michael and Willow interact.
Once Michael meets up with Dante in the loving room, they’ll share a drink and toast to Sonny. Later, Willow will seem touched as Michael reflects on Sonny teaching him how to put on a tie.
Sonny would never let Michael use a mirror since there was no guarantee one would always be around. Willow will think that’s excellent guidance – and she’ll move in close to tighten Michael’s tie knot.
After a little moment is shared between them, Michael and Willow will walk off hand in hand. At Crimson, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will have a quick conversation with “Mike” to make sure things are going well with Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) back at the bar.
Phyllis will soon hang up to get her meeting with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) started.
Nina will find out that the man she spoke with on the phone talked Phyllis into coming to help. Once Phyllis sits down with Nina, she’ll be heartbroken to learn all the difficult daughter details.
Nina will admit Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) had a troubled life that ended with a police chase and a tragic accident.
Phyllis will be shown an old photo of Frank Benson, which she’ll recognize instantly. There’ll be no doubts for Phyllis when it comes to who she gave Nina’s baby girl to. It was Frank and his wife.
Although Nina’s instincts told her Nelle was her child, it’ll still be hard to hear Phyllis’ confirmation.
Before this, Nina could cling to the hope that maybe there was a mistake, but not anymore. As Nina reflects on Nelle dying before she had a chance to connect with her, Nina will suggest perhaps Nelle wasn’t “intrinsically evil.”
Nina will feel like there was a point in time when Nelle still had a chance – and that’s when her mother should’ve been there to guide her.
Since Nina will be visibly distressed, Phyllis will do her best to comfort her. She’ll feel like Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) should support Nina right now, but Nina will admit that part’s complicated. Nina will fill Phyllis in on how Jax lied to her about her link to Nelle.
If Nina hadn’t discovered the truth, Jax would’ve robbed her of an opportunity to know Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Phyllis will understand why Nina would be upset about being kept from her grandson, but she won’t think Jax was being malicious. She’ll push Nina to understand and talk things out with Jax, so Nina will dash off to find him.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will wrestle with fear after facing so many losses. It’ll worry Josslyn to think about losing even more people she loves, but she’ll get two similar pep talks to help her.
Jax will encourage Josslyn not to let fear hold her back and live life to the fullest. Jason’s advice will offer this same “live life to the fullest” motto, so Joss will know what she has to do.
After Nina shows up at the church where Sonny’s funeral is being held, she’ll listen in on a stunning conversation. Nina will overhear Carly talking about how Nelle is dead and how Carly intends to put that awful night on the cliff behind her.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will seem rattled over the shocker – and Carly isn’t done spilling! Look for Carly to blab more incriminating info once Tuesday’s episode, February 16, rolls around, so Nina’s fury will soon be unleashed.
Until then, Sonny will deal with a state trooper’s suspicions about some robberies that recently happened in the neighborhood. At The Tan-O, Sonny will get riled up when the officer suggests “Mike” might be to blame. However, Lenny will intervene and the cop off Sonny’s case somewhat.
Even so, this officer will won’t trust “Mike” and will think it’d be wise to run his fingerprints through the system. The state trooper will slip Sonny’s mug into his pocket while “Mike” and Lenny are in the back, so he’ll score the fingerprints he needs.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, she won’t be keen on attending Sonny’s funeral with her daughters.
Alexis will push Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) to go on without her, but Kristina will really want her mom by her side. After all, Kristina is bidding farewell to her dad and could use extra support.
While Alexis is dressing for the service, Molly will make a gloomy prediction about Alexis’ shot at getting a sympathetic jury. Sam, Kristina and Molly will all know Alexis needs to focus on her sobriety and show she’s committed to a better path.
Unfortunately, Alexis will slip up again by the end of the episode. General Hospital spoilers say Molly will catch Alexis gulping down a drink, so these two will have a lot to talk about soon enough. As other news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
