The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that there’s been a recurring theme for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ever since she realized she was pregnant – and that’s how she needs to avoid stress for the baby’s sake. That’s a tough task considering the circumstances Steffy’s facing.
Everything about this baby situation has been stressful since Steffy initially had to come clean about the cheating and wonder who the father was.
Steffy also had to worry about the possibility that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) might leave her – and about the toll this secret would take on Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) marriage, too.
Now that Steffy has confirmation that Liam is the father, that’s just bringing stress all over again. Steffy has to fret over making things work with Finn knowing she’s carrying a second “Steam” kid. It’s been heartbreaking for Finn and Steffy since they were so excited about having a baby together.
Unfortunately, Steffy will indeed face more stress as Finn and Liam clash in the coming weeks. Since Liam will feel Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and their future slipping away, that’ll add to his frustration and rev up the conflict.
Likewise, Finn will be frustrated over Liam’s bun in Steffy’s oven when it should’ve been a “Sinn” bun!
It’s easy to see why Finn and Liam will be at war since there was already tension between them to begin with. Nevertheless, it’s clear that sparring like this won’t be good for Steffy and the baby. Liam and Finn won’t be putting the well-being of Steffy and this child first.
Steffy may battle concerns about all the stress leading to a miscarriage or other pregnancy problems, so that could lead to a big decision. Since B&B writers have really been working this “don’t stress out Steffy” angle, that could play a role in why Steffy decides to leave town.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s maternity leave means Steffy will need an explanation for her absence.
Tanner Novlan recently posted a funny Instagram story where he snuck in Wood’s dressing room when she wasn’t there – implying that Finn will be around without Steffy at some point.
Of course, it’s possible Finn will leave with Steffy for a while and then come back. It’d be tough for Finn to get away from the hospital for too long, so he might take a trip with Steffy and return before her.
After that, Finn might still visit Steffy on offscreen weekend trips to Paris or wherever else she might land.
Regardless, there’s just too much drama in LA for Steffy right now. All the stress isn’t going to work for Steffy, so that could be why she packs up her stuff and leaves for a while.
B&B writers may insist Steffy’s just putting her baby first and removing herself from a stressful situation – namely Liam’s rivalry with Finn!
