Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will surprise both Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and himself during the week of February 22-26. Allie will end up having a rough mom day, so Tripp will come to her rescue.
It sounds like Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) will be pretty fussy, so Tripp may become a bit of a baby whisperer. Uncle Tripp may figure out what Henry wants and find a way to calm him down. DOOL fans should see Tripp cuddle Henry in his arms and enjoy a little bonding time with him.
Tripp doesn’t have much experience with babies, so it’ll impress Allie when she sees what a fantastic job he’s doing. Allie will be genuinely grateful for the help, so this will bring a chance for Allie and Tripp to bond as well.
Tripp and Allie will move beyond the wrong accusations of the past and focus on the future – specifically, Henry’s future.
Later, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tripp will drop a bomb on Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). Tripp will offer updates on the time he spent with Henry and the connection he felt to the kid.
Since Henry’s bio dad is Allie’s assaulter, Tripp will know that Henry’s never going to have a real relationship with Charlie Dale (Mike Manning). Of course, Tripp won’t realize Charlie’s about to get murdered, so that’ll really seal the deal on Henry never knowing his bio dad!
Regardless, Days spoilers say Tripp will feel like Henry could use a father figure. He’ll want to step up for Henry and play that role in his life, so Steve may wonder if Tripp’s really prepared for that. After all, one day of pitching in won’t give Tripp the full picture here.
Still, that’s just another good reason for Tripp to spend even more time with Henry and strengthen that fatherly sort of bond. This could pave the way to Tripp adopting Henry down the road.
Once Charlie is dead, it’ll shut the door on that difficult chapter for Allie. Although Allie will always be haunted by the memory of her traumatic experience, she won’t have to worry about Charlie coming after her again or bothering Henry either.
Could Allie trust Tripp to be a fill-father? If Tripp eventually offers to adopt Henry, will Allie agree to it? It’d be nice to see Tripp, Allie and Henry become a sweet family unit. Tripp could become Henry’s adoptive dad and maybe even find love with Henry’s mom, too!
There are definitely some hints that a love story is in the works for Tripp and Allie, so this adoption idea seems perfect. We’ll keep you posted as other Days news rolls in.
