General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, February 24, tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will pay Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) a visit in hopes of making amends. “You’ve got five minutes. Start talking,” Olivia snaps in Wednesday’s GH preview video.
Alexis will apologize for sleeping with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and causing problems in Olivia’s marriage. It was a massive lapse in judgment that wouldn’t have happened if Alexis had been sober and thinking clearly.
Olivia certainly can’t forget what Alexis did with her husband, but maybe she can at least take a step or two toward forgiveness in Wednesday’s episode.
Meanwhile, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will make a bold declaration as she seeks evidence in Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) apartment. “I will find it AND your secrets!” Liesl insists in Wednesday’s preview clip.
Alex Devane Marick’s (Finola Hughes) last will and testament has been delivered in the mail, so Liesl might spot that during her search and snoop inside the envelope.
That could prove enlightening and offer proof of Peter’s true mother, but what Liesl needs is proof of Peter’s guilt.
While Obrecht’s on her evidence hunt, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will talk to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about Peter’s impending marriage to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). During this discussion, Robert will allude to Jason perhaps taking his eye off the much bigger prize.
Robert may think Jason needs to spend a little less time worrying about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and a little more time worrying about Peter, who’s set to marry Maxie and poses a more imminent threat.
Although Robert will fear nothing more can be done to stop this wedding, he might end up taking one more shot a little later.
General Hospital spoilers say Liesl will just barely avoid a confrontation on Wednesday, so it might be a run-in with Robert she avoids. Maybe Robert will also break in and try to find some evidence, but Obrecht should be able to hide or sneak back out soon enough.
It’s also possible Liesl will almost get caught by Peter or Maxie upon one of their returns later, so we’ll see how it goes. Regardless, Liesl should get by without a major faceoff for now.
Over with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll tell Peter August (Wes Ramsey) that it’s time they faced the truth. Peter’s going to wonder what Anna means exactly – though he may be terrified of what’s coming deep down.
Anna will use this as an opportunity to fish for the whole story from Peter. She’ll hope to pry a confession out of Peter regarding all his horrible crimes.
Anna already knows everything Peter’s guilty of thanks to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), but she’ll want to hear Peter speak the truth in his own words. Unfortunately, Peter will shock Anna by being uncooperative.
Peter will pile on the deception by acting like anything Anna’s heard about him is false, so that’ll lead to Anna and Valentin trying Plan B eventually.
As for Peter, he’ll make a desperate move in response to Anna’s latest move. Peter will definitely be scrambling to save his “happily ever after” with Maxie, but it’s clear that this couple is doomed. Alas, Maxie can’t see that yet – and she’s unwilling to see Peter’s true colors either.
Maxie’s hanging out at the night club with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who just suggested Maxie should join her for a mocktail. Things will take a surprising turn in Wednesday’s episode when Britt lunges forward to grab something and tells Maxie “don’t do that.”
It’s possible Liesl left a clue behind that Maxie could find it Britt doesn’t intervene.
Whatever the case, the discussion will soon shift to Peter and bring more tension. Maxie will once again rush to Peter’s defense and wish Britt would support her brother.
Britt doesn’t want to play the role of supportive sister anymore now that she’s seen Peter’s dark side, but she’ll hope the damage isn’t too severe for Maxie when it all blows up.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) heart will be full after her visit with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) talked Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) into trying to “bridge the chasm” between Nina and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), so they just brought a smiling Wiley to see his new grandmother.
Sadly, any progress Michael and Willow might make will be obliterated by an angry Carly later. Carly will come strutting in and announce that the feds declined to reopen the case.
When Carly finds out that Nina got a visit with Wiley, Carly will offer a warning. “If you don’t play your cards right, it will be your last,” Carly says with a finger point in Wednesday’s preview video.
Of course, it’s not really up to Grandma Carly whether Nina sees her grandson. That’s up to Wiley’s parents – and Nina may point that out to Carly during this showdown.
Carly may insist that if Nina dares to go up against her, she’ll convince Michael to side with his mom and make sure these Wiley visits are blocked immediately.
