The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that we’ll see some good advice and bad decisions. During the week of March 22-26, there’ll be a NCAA March Madness preemption on Monday, March 22 – and then the usual action will resume on Tuesday, March 23.
In the coming episodes, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have a warning for Faith Newman (Alvyia Alyn Lind). Since Phyllis has a way of figuring out what Faith is hiding, she may realize Faith’s been secretly texting a boy.
Phyllis might warn Faith to be careful with her heart, especially since she doesn’t really know anything about this guy. It’s wise to proceed with caution under the circumstances, but Faith is a teen – and teens don’t always have enough experience to make great choices!
Nevertheless, Faith will at least hear Phyllis out, so this might lead to Faith insisting on meeting this boy in person if they’re going to keep communicating. Of course, Faith will also have to deal with a family crisis since Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will be in a coma.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will try to give Faith hope for Rey’s full recovery, but she’ll worry he might not wake up.
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will also fret over the possibility of Rey being stuck in this coma permanently. It’ll be a race against time as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) nail down a diagnosis and work to get the poison out of Rey’s system.
Rey will avoid death and awaken to a relieved Sharon, who’ll guess that maybe Rey has some old vengeful enemy. Sharon will suspect that maybe Rey was targeted by someone he arrested or testified against at one point.
However, Rey will think Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the only right answer when he finds out someone put thallium in various products in his bathroom. Rey’s been exposing himself to this toxic substance as a result.
Adam will eventually face poisoning accusations when he crosses paths with Sharon, who’ll apparently buy Rey’s theory. That’ll lead Adam to corner Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and argue that she must’ve set him up.
The evidence will point at Adam, but it won’t be Chloe who’s to blame. It seems it’s Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and other accomplice who did the framing.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will be taken aback by Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) visit. Naya will beg for assistance with a family emergency, so Amanda will likely put whatever lingering issues she has with Naya aside and agree to help.
At the Chancellor mansion, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will move their stuff in as they start a fresh chapter.
Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is bound to hover a bit once the surrogacy process moves along, but everyone will be pleased about “Teriah’s” mansion move at this point in the story.
As for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll get put on notice when it comes to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and what a fierce threat he can be. Kyle will be shaking in his boots deep down, so Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will sense that his son needs to open up.
We’ll see if Jack can pry the truth about Harrison Locke out of Kyle soon enough.
Back with Adam, he’ll make a startling discovery when Chelsea lowers her guard. Chelsea won’t realize Adam’s watching when she stretches slightly and allows her body to relax along with her face.
Adam will determine that Chelsea’s been hiding her recovery progress, so he’ll have to settle on his next move.
During the week of March 29-April 2, Chelsea will gain a big advantage over Adam. This may involve more planted evidence that could lead to Adam’s arrest.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have to take charge when a family crisis hits, so Adam will be at the center of that as the news spreads about Rey’s poisoning.
Adam could get arrested for Rey’s attempted murder and put the Cyaxares deal in jeopardy since the contracts remain unsigned. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will hope Jack can help him pull something off, so maybe the Abbott brothers will team up to steal Cyaxares away.
Ashland could easily give his media company to ChancComm once Adam’s viewed as a menace to society all over again.
Other Y&R spoilers state that alarm bells will go off for Nick. Will that be due to Faith’s boy drama or perhaps this poisoning plot? Could Nick realize things may not be as they seem? Nick may find himself with a mystery to tackle, so stay tuned.
