Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 30, reveals that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) stopped by Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office looking for some help. Ben was struggling since Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) still couldn’t remember him and looked at him like a monster.
When Ben suggested using the memory serum on Ciara, Marlena pointed out that it was created as an antidote. It was a dangerous drug used to counteract the effects of another dangerous drug – not to mention it was created by twisted Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay).
Ben ultimately agreed that he couldn’t do anything that might harm Ciara, even if it was killing him that she couldn’t remember.
Next, Ben suggested hypnosis, but Marlena was initially reluctant. Ben pointed out that Ciara’s memory issues weren’t just affecting him; they were affecting Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) as well since Ciara couldn’t remember all the progress they’d made in their relationship.
If Marlena wouldn’t do it for Ben, he begged her to do it for her granddaughter. Ben didn’t understand why Marlena would be skeptical since she’d had success with hypnosis before.
Marlena admitted there was generally no real risk to the patient, but she couldn’t do it without Ciara’s consent. In the end, Marlena admitted she’d go to Ciara and ask her.
In Ciara’s hospital room, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) joked around about how Ciara used to steal the cookie dough out of his ice cream. Talk turned to Ciara’s marriage to Ben, which Ciara still couldn’t wrap her head around.
Ciara asked if her family was really OK with this, but Theo insisted that Ciara wouldn’t be denied something she wanted.
Ciara argued that now all she felt for Ben was complete, utter disgust. She only felt hate for Claire and grew agitated with Theo for always defending her. However, Ciara apologized – and Theo insisted there was nothing to be sorry for.
Theo was really glad Ciara remembered him, so she said she was glad she remembered him, too.
When Marlena came in, she found Theo cozied up to Ciara watching cartoons in her hospital bed. Theo left to get Ciara the ice cream she wanted, so Marlena told Ciara she was there to help her try to remember her lost memories.
Ben caught up with Theo and asked how Ciara was doing, so Theo suggested he didn’t have to tell Ben how tough Ciara was. When Ben asked if Ciara had remembered anything else, Theo admitted she hadn’t and told Ben he was sorry.
At the DiMera mansion, Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) found out the reason for the compromising position they found Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) in.
Gabi explained how she talked Philip up to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) as a tough guy and inadvertently got him punched.
Kate thought it was typical for Gabi to be the source of trouble and pulled Philip aside to scold him for getting personally involved with her. Philip insisted he was “hardly” involved since they only did business together.
Kate wouldn’t let it go and warned Philip would get hurt if he got in too deep with Gabi, who’s hung up on Jake and wants to make waves in his current relationship.
Meanwhile, Jake teased Gabi about practically doing mouth to mouth on Philip, so she asked if he was jealous. Jake denied it and suggested it was more like curiosity. Gabi thought she could do worse than Philip – and in fact had done worse when she was with Jake.
Nevertheless, Jake warned that in this war that was going on, he’d have the last laugh along with Kate. As Jake and Kate prepared to join Gabi and Philip for an awkward dinner, they gathered around for drinks.
There was a toast to the competition and whoever comes out on top. Days of Our Lives spoilers say this battle will take some interesting turns down the road, so stay tuned!
At the townhouse on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) told “Susan Banks” aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) went to see Kristen at Statesville.
That left Kristen frantic, so “Susan” convinced Chloe to go help John Black (Drake Hogestyn) in the kitchen.
Once Kristen was alone, she called Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) and wanted help with her crisis since they had a deal. Vivian felt Kristen hadn’t kept her end of the bargain since she was supposed to be breaking up “Jacob and that bitch Kate.”
Kristen swore she would get to work on that, so Vivian dashed off to the visiting area to help “Kristen DiMera” aka Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
Brady found “Kristen’s” behavior strange and questioned why she made a license plate with “The King” on it. “Kristen” stammered that it was obvious – and then Vivian swooped in to help her.
Vivian said “Kristen” told her that it was because Brady was the king of her heart, so “Kristen” agreed and babbled about how much she loved Brady.
Vivian added that “Kristen” told her it’d be best if Brady didn’t visit for a while, so “Kristen” suggested that was right. She pretended to need time to herself and told Brady she’d see him soon – “not too soon, but sooner than too long!”
Brady started to take the license plate, but “Kristen” insisted on keeping it as a reminder of Brady her heart ruler.
Afterward, Susan thanked Vivian for coming to her rescue and eventually scampered off. Vivian gripped her head over the near disaster and suggested this wouldn’t go on much longer if Kristen didn’t keep her word about breaking up Jake and Kate.
Back at the townhouse on Tuesday’s Days episode, Chloe opened up to “Susan” about how she thought about what it’d be like to be “together together” with Brady.
The thought of it was familiar and comfortable, but it was also exciting. “Susan” suggested it was a shame that Brady was taken, so Chloe trashed Kristen for being selfish and “such a mess.”
“Susan” grew increasingly angry as she gripped the cheese knife she was holding. When Chloe walked away, “Susan” stabbed a block of cheese in front of her.
Later, Kristen was still wearing her Susan disguise as she tried to get in touch with Vivian again. “Susan” said aloud about how she had to make sure Brady didn’t find out her secret – and then turned to see a suspicious Brady standing there.
