Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will struggle now that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is putting some distance between them. “Susan Banks” aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) convinced Brady it was the kindest thing he could do under the circumstances.
Brady felt bad about hurting Chloe, but “Susan” suggested Chloe would get over it and obviously wasn’t concerned.
Of course, this works out well for Kristen, who wants Brady to stay committed to her and push Chloe aside. Kristen has to get busy on breaking up Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow), so this perhaps takes care of her Chloe problem for now.
It also gives Kristen a chance to focus on this other plot and try to keep Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) happy. That’s crucial since Vivian vowed to blab about the switch if Kristen doesn’t keep her end of the bargain!
However, Chloe will pay the price since she won’t even have Brady as much of a friend anymore. That’ll change sooner or later, but what happens in the meantime? Chloe’s going to feel lost and alone, so she might turn to someone else for comfort.
Since Chloe’s still putting up walls with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), he may not be her next option. Philip is hanging around Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) right now anyway, so that may or may not turn romantic.
Regardless, Philip is rather busy, so maybe we should consider someone else who might help Chloe initially. Could there be someone else on canvas who’s in the same boat – someone who feels lost, alone, vulnerable and rejected by the person he wants?
Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) seems like a great fit here, especially considering some recent Days dialogue and some upcoming spring preview hints. Brady was surprised when Chloe actually felt sorry for Xander following his breakup with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
DOOL fans know Chloe wouldn’t go as far as to say she’d forgiven Xander, but she did feel for him since he was in pain. It felt like a significant change in Chloe’s attitude toward Xander since she previously was pretty hard on him.
We also know Xander will land in bed with someone surprising in the coming weeks. Xander’s drunken bender will leave him waking up to somebody unexpected. There’ll be some funny moments as a result, so what if it’s Chloe who has a one-night stand with Xander?
A hot hookup wouldn’t have to mean anything except comfort during their difficult situations. Chloe wants Brady, who essentially rejected her by pushing her away.
Xander believes Sarah rejected him as well due to Kristen’s Sarah impersonation. Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest this is the ideal opportunity to bring Chloe and Xander together – even if it’s just for one night.
It’s easy to imagine Chloe having a bit too much to drink herself and surrendering to temptation with Xander. Could Xander land in bed with Chloe due to their mutual romantic struggles? If so, Chloe might wake up horrified and insist it was a terrible mistake!
