The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 6, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have to think fast. The end of Monday’s Y&R episode puts Kyle on the spot when Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) asks if Kyle remembers Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) from his days in the Hamptons.
Ashland wants to know if Kyle recalls sleeping with his wife!
On Tuesday, Kyle will get Ashland to repeat the question, which Ashland will have no problem doing. Ashland will once again push Kyle to admit if he slept with Tara, so Kyle will be in a real bind.
There’s no good way to handle this since Ashland clearly knows the truth. Denying would just make matters worse, but a confession won’t accomplish much either.
At this point, all Kyle can do is try to get through this confrontation and hightail it back to Jabot for an emergency strategy session. Whether Kyle admits to sleeping with Tara or not, he’s in big trouble!
Ashland is out for revenge, so Kyle will offer updates to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and get some tips on how to defend their turf.
Jack and Kyle will know that Jabot is at risk, but that’s not even the worst part. Kyle will feel certain that Ashland’s going to target Summer Newman (Hunter King) as well as Jack because of this buried secret.
As for the topic of Harrison Locke’s paternity, that’s another secret that should blow up sooner or later!
In the meantime, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have a reason to celebrate. She’ll probably crack open a bottle of Champagne at the penthouse and toast to her bright Adam-less future.
Chelsea will once again declare that she’s finally free! She’ll feel certain that Adam will either land behind bars or remain on the run indefinitely, so she’ll want to start planning what’s next.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) may become part of this little celebration, but she might warn Chelsea about the dangers of overconfidence. Chelsea could mess things up for herself if she jumps the gun on thinking she’s victorious.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea could be her own worst enemy this spring, but she’ll also have to deal with a trap that’s brewing. By the lake, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will listen to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) shocking news.
Adam will admit that he thinks Chelsea set him up to take the fall for poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
Of course, Sharon’s first reaction will be to shut down that theory as impossible. Sharon won’t see how Chelsea could’ve done that considering she’s paralyzed in a wheelchair. Adam will argue that Chelsea must’ve had some help, but he’ll add that he believes she’s now faking her paralysis.
Adam will assume that Chelsea’s been plotting revenge over the lip lock he shared with Sharon at Society.
Sharon will think all of this sounds completely insane – and Adam will admit Chelsea might have some mental issues now. He may feel like her brain trauma contributed to this startling shift in Chelsea’s behavior.
Regardless, Adam will refuse to go down for a crime he didn’t commit. He’ll want Sharon to help him trap Chelsea, so he may push for a recorded confession or something along those lines.
Sharon will worry about the possibility that Adam’s wrong, which would mean targeting a woman who’s already been through a total nightmare.
Sharon won’t want to add to Chelsea’s pain if she’s innocent, but Adam will push Sharon to trust him on this. Since Sharon is the only person Adam can trust, he’ll plead with her to help him clear his name.
It seems like proving Chelsea is responsible may be the only way to make that happen.
Sharon will have a lot to mull over, but it looks like she’ll indeed wind up making some bold moves for Adam’s sake. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some shockers are coming up for Chelsea, so she won’t know what hit her!
