The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, April 12, teases that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will defend her actions to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
On Friday’s Y&R episode, Sharon admits that she’s been in touch with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and blames Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for poisoning Rey.
Of course, Rey’s going to think that’s a ridiculous theory when he responds on Monday. Rey may argue that Adam is manipulating Sharon into believing some crazy story. Furthermore, Rey won’t be happy about Sharon going behind his back and helping Adam once again.
Since Rey could’ve died, he’ll no doubt wonder what it’s going to take for Sharon to open her eyes. However, Sharon will stand her ground and insist that Adam’s innocent.
Since Sharon knows Adam better than anyone, she’ll feel confident he wouldn’t have targeted her husband like that.
Sharon will remind Rey that Adam saved Faith Newman’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) life and will push him to see things her way. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will present the idea that Chelsea snapped due everything that’s gone down.
Sharon will urge Rey to see that Chelsea wanted revenge and was determined to make Adam pay.
While Rey listens and battles doubts, Chelsea will likely continue speaking to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Since Chelsea’s worried Adam might get away with everything, she ends up whispering that “Sharon knows” in Friday’s Y&R episode.
Nick may push for clarification on Monday, so Chelsea may pretend to get a few more words out and insist Sharon’s hiding fugitive Adam.
Chelsea will use this as the start of her fake recovery breakthrough, though the real one came long ago. As for Nick, he should make a beeline for the cottage soon enough. That could bring some clashing when Sharon insists this is all part of Chelsea’s game.
Nick and Rey will have to decide what they’re willing to believe. The best thing Rey can do is speak to Chelsea himself, so he’ll head over to the penthouse for a little chat with the newly accused eventually.
In the meantime, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will order Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to drop her investigation of Newman Enterprises. Victor especially won’t want Amanda investigating his own past and stirring up unnecessary trouble.
Despite this roadblock, Amanda will try to make Victor see that she only wants the truth. She’ll hope to figure out who actually killed her father, Richard Nealon, but Victor will repeat his warning.
Victor will want Amanda to understand that Newman Enterprises is off-limits, so he’ll get rather menacing to make his point.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will make a connection or two on Monday anyway. There’ll be some clues that perhaps put Amanda on the right track.
Amanda will intend to figure out who really ordered her father’s fatal crash with or without Victor’s approval, so this could bring quite a battle.
