General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, April 20, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be desperate to get through to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) – and so will Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Nikolas intends to steal back Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) and hand her over to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but Laura will angrily push her son to call the whole thing off.
Carly will agree this move can only end in disaster for all parties involved. She’ll have an outburst of her own before toning it down and pretty much begging Nikolas not to go through with this.
However, Nikolas won’t seem particularly moved by Laura or Carly’s speeches. He’ll be too fixated on keeping Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) out of harm’s way.
Of course, we have to wonder if the danger Alexis is already in will affect Nikolas’ plans. Alexis could be beaten or shivved since Hilda’s so determined to send an unforgettable message.
If Nikolas hears the attack news and realizes Alexis isn’t truly safe – with or without Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) help – there’s really no need to go through with the deal.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will stand by her man no matter what, but she’ll know this is quite a mess! While Nikolas decides what to do, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will stop by Pentonville and reveal some important updates.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will find out that Anna and Carly’s plan to link Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has hit a roadblock.
It won’t take Jason long to figure out that roadblock is Peter August (Wes Ramsey)! Jason will determine that Peter is threatening Anna somehow, so she’ll admit the stakes are extremely high.
Anna will note that what happens next could mean the difference between life and death for someone in Port Charles. Since Carly isn’t listening to Anna and could do something to blow this, Anna will count on Jason to handle this.
GH fans know Jason has a calming effect on Carly and can sometimes help her see a better way of dealing with things. Jason should face the challenge of getting Carly to back off for the time being.
However, it turns out Carly will drop a bomb on Jason in the coming episodes. Carly has a drastic plan that could lead to more danger, so stay tuned to hear her pitch later this week, April 19-23.
Until then, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) will suspect Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) doesn’t like having him around. Jordan will just be throwing herself a pity party over her divorce, so it won’t be Taggert’s fault.
She’ll reassure Taggert and fill him in on the reason for her foul mood, so he’ll console Jordan as she deals with the end of her marriage.
Across town, Cyrus will already be in celebratory mode over what he assumes is Florence’s imminent return. General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will pat himself on the back and hope Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will be part of the family reunion when the time comes.
Cyrus will also track down Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and goad him on Tuesday’s episode. Since Curtis has a swanky new nightclub, Cyrus might think it’s the perfect venue for the celebration he has in mind. Maybe Cyrus will push to rent The Savoy for the night and promptly get rejected.
While Curtis delivers a fierce threat and urges Cyrus to scram, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will try to mend fences with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Since Cam misses his pal, he’ll hope they can move past the recent friction between them.
Josslyn will want that as well, but this attempt to patch things up will go awry. It’ll quickly become apparent that Cameron isn’t willing to budge on his belief that Jason is guilty.
Cameron will be stuck on the idea that Jason killed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), which will frustrate Josslyn. She won’t get why Cameron is refusing to apply any kind of logic or explore other options.
Cameron will stomp off and leave Josslyn hurt, but at least she’ll have Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) to lean on. Trina will give Josslyn a pep talk on Tuesday, so that might involve Cameron as well as the fact that Joss has been waitlisted at Southern Coastal University.
Trina may try to convince Josslyn that PCU isn’t such a bad choice. She’ll certainly like the idea of continuing their friendship right there in town. Whatever the case, Trina will joke around with Joss a bit and lift her spirits. It should be a welcome relief considering all the drama that’s going on with Cameron!
General Hospital spoilers say there’s still hope for Cameron and Josslyn’s friendship, but they can’t move forward until Cam accepts Jason’s innocence. CDL will have all the sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your GH hotspot.
