The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could find himself in need of a new woman – at least for a while. Y&R fans know Adam recently did some soul-searching at the ranch.
Adam finally understood how much he’d messed with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) hearts.
Chelsea set Adam up for poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and hates Adam’s guts at this point. It doesn’t seem like there’s any chance of Chelsea and Adam reuniting anytime soon. That could still happen down the road, but who will Adam be paired up with in the meantime?
It may not be Sharon as long as she’s determined to fight for her marriage. Sharon is clinging to hope that Rey might change his mind about having a future together.
Adam is always going to be a weak spot for Sharon, but Y&R writers don’t seem keen on reuniting them as an actual couple for whatever reason.
Perhaps Adam could use a hot hookup to blow off some steam – one that’s full of unexpected passion! Since Chelsea and Sharon may not be options for a while, Adam could land in bed with someone else.
There have been some rumblings about a shocking duo hitting the sheets in the near future. Nothing has been confirmed, but there’s some buzz about the idea of Adam hooking up with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
It wouldn’t be a bad one since Adam and Chloe have such sizzling chemistry in their scenes together!
Chloe and Adam obviously aren’t big fans of each other due to complicated history, but that’s another reason to pair them up in some capacity if you ask us. Soap duos should be messy!
Adam inadvertently killed Chloe’s daughter, Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), so that led to Chloe seeking deadly revenge on Adam several times.
Now Chloe’s gotten caught up in this Adam frame job, but she didn’t know the extent of Chelsea’s plans when she got on board. Adam might not blame her too much if he knew the whole story.
Chloe thought this setup would involve planted trinkets and bogus texts. She had no idea Rey would be poisoned or that Adam would be framed for attempted murder.
Since Adam understands Chelsea’s perspective a bit better now, maybe he could understand Chloe’s as well. Chloe might also be apologetic for her role in Adam’s ordeal. She wanted Adam out of Chelsea’s life, but she didn’t intend for things to spiral out of control like this.
Y&R writers could use the situation to bring Adam and Chloe together if they wanted to. On the other hand, explosive anger has been known to lead to passion as well. Chloe and Adam could just as easily hook up while lashing out at each other, so that’d be another fun way to go.
Of course, it’d mean Chloe would be cheating on Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), but there have definitely been more betrayals on the show lately.
The Young and the Restless seems to be trying to liven things up with acts of infidelity, so Chloe and Adam hooking up would keep the trend going.
Whatever the case, there’s no denying that Adam and Chloe would be smoking hot together! Why not let them heat things up and see what happens? As other Y&R news comes in, we’ll bring you updates.
