General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, April 26 Recap – Sonny's Visit to Jax - Chase Suffers Seizure - Finn's Flashback

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, April 26, reveals that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) found Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) following his sponge bath at GH.

Willow insisted she could help with Chase’s gown and tried to hand Chase an herbal tea she’d picked up for him, but he promptly dropped the cup.

Chase was apologetic since Willow had to clean up the mess, but she joked about Wiley Quartermaine (Erik and Theo Olson) making a worse mess with his cereal this morning.

Chase remained grateful that Willow was by his side through all of this and was really starting to get scared about his mysterious illness.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) wasn’t having any luck recreating the antidote when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) dropped by to see him.

Finn acknowledged that he might’ve said some harsh things when they last talked. He offered updates on his antidote frustration before Anna made her way to see Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

Maxie got a call from Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who was eager to see her on Monday’s episode of General Hospital. However, Maxie acted like she hadn’t slept well and pretended her blood pressure was elevated. Afterward, Anna came in and hoped Maxie would agree to meet with Peter.

Maxie flew off the handle since Anna seemed so willing to risk people she claimed to love. Anna decided she’d have to tell Maxie the whole truth, so she came clean about Peter poisoning Chase by mistake.

Maxie looked at the text Peter sent Anna and thought all this was monstrous. She refused to let Peter kill Chase and agreed to the meeting.

Anna stuck around on Monday’s episode of General Hospital, so she was still there when Peter showed up with flowers for Maxie. Peter asked if Maxie was feeling better, so Maxie insisted she was and that her fairy godmother had stepped up with some magic fairy dust.

When Maxie stepped out briefly, Anna warned Peter that he needed to save Chase.

Back with Finn, he talked to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) murder case. Liz noted that she didn’t see Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) pull the trigger, but she did see him standing over Franco’s body.

There was also the eyewitness to consider, so Liz wondered who the real killer would be if that eyewitness was wrong.

Finn had a flashback of Anna telling him that Peter was Franco’s killer, but he simply told Liz to trust the system. He argued that if Jason was innocent, the real murderer would be brought to justice.

Afterward, Finn gave Finn updates on a toxin being the source of his symptoms. That didn’t make any sense to Chase, who wasn’t sure how he would’ve been exposed to one.

Chase felt like Finn was holding something back, but Finn insisted that more tests would be run. Liz cornered Finn eventually and wondered if Finn was indeed holding back.

Back with Chase, he suddenly started talking like he was off his rocker. Chase thought he was married to Willow and mentioned the beautiful wedding they’d had. He felt like they wouldn’t be like Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) – that they would have a bright future instead.

Willow’s confusion turned to panic as Chase had a seizure right in front of her.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) pushed Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to support Maxie since she’s going through such a rough time. Dante pointed out that Maxie knew she could call day or night, but Olivia felt Dante needed to be the one to reach out.

In the living room, Brook Lynn turned to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) over the phone. She insisted she needed a real baby instead of her pregnancy padding and felt like Tracy was in no position to judge her.

Brook Lynn argued that there must be some sort of black market for babies in Amsterdam, but Tracy hung up on her.

Next, Brook Lynn called “Lord Larry” and reminded him that she was his granddaughter. She had to raise her voice to be heard and ended up shouting, “Help! I need help!” That sent Dante and Olivia running in, but Brook Lynn managed to cover.

Afterward, Olivia bickered with Brook Lynn about not taking motherhood seriously. Brook Lynn pointed out that Olivia trusted her with Leo Falconeri (Aaron Bradshaw) back when she was hiding him from Julian Jerome (William deVry).

Olivia talked about how Maxie also needed to hide her baby from a dangerous man and got Brook Lynn’s attention with talk about Maxie’s same sacrifice.

In Nixon Falls, Phyllis Caufield (Joyce Guy) assured Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that it was normal for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) to still be asleep due to his sedative. Phyllis felt Nina still had feelings for Jax and asked if Nina would take him back. Nina didn’t seem so sure Jax would want her back.

After Nina sat by Jax’s bedside and talked about how him waking up was the most important thing, Jax indeed opened his eyes. “Sonny” was the first word out of Jax’s mouth – and then he told Nina about thinking he saw Sonny, though he knew it was impossible.

Jax found out that Nina hadn’t notified Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about his ordeal, so he was relieved since he didn’t want to worry them.

Jax thought it was ironic that he got shot in this sleepy town when Port Charles was normally so crime-infested, but he admitted crime had seemingly gone way down since Sonny had been gone.

With Sonny out of the picture, Jax suggested he had hope for Joss to live a more normal life and fret over the typical teen drama instead of mob drama. General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn may continue to face both in the coming weeks!

At The Tan-O on Monday’s GH episode, Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) got Sonny to admit he’d miss Nina if she went back to Jax and left Nixon Falls. Sonny later got into an argument with Elijah Crowe (Dan White) – and “Mike” noted that Elijah left the dance right before the robbery attempt.

Although Sonny didn’t mention that to the cops, he suggested he wouldn’t forget to give them updates if they came around again.

In a moment alone with Lenny, Elijah pointed out that all the vandalism and armed robbery didn’t start up until “Mike” arrived. He thought Lenny and Phyllis were too trusting since they didn’t know that much about Sonny at all.

Elijah didn’t understand why the Caulfields were so willing to give Sonny a pass when crime followed him everywhere.

Finally, Sonny joined Phyllis at the clinic so he could check on Nina’s friend. Phyllis suggested they could go in now, so they were right outside the door ready to enter. Meanwhile, Jax swore to Nina that it was like he saw Sonny clear as day!

General Hospital spoilers say Nina will keep wiggling out of tight spots for now, so don’t miss what’s in store. CDL will have other great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news for you, so pop back in soon.
