The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) will want to make sure he has all the facts as he considers Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) case.
This hit-and-run isn’t as simple as it seems according to Bold and the Beautiful spoilers. There’ll be some twists along the way, so could one or more of them be contained in the coroner’s report?
B&B went to the trouble of casting Dr. Ricks (Vasthy Mompoint) and bringing her into this story as coroner, so she may become a key player for several reasons.
For starters, Dr. Ricks saw John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) stunned reaction to Vinny being in the morgue. She knows and trusts Finn, so she could defend him to the cops if need be.
However, the coroner’s report itself could also contain some crucial clues about this case. Perhaps Deputy Chief Baker should pay Dr. Ricks a visit to ask her about her findings. Dr. Ricks might be able to shed some light on some things that don’t quite add up.
Before The Bold and the Beautiful kicked off this storyline, it was heavily promoted as a murder mystery. Of course, it’s possible that was just B&B’s misleading way of saying that the characters would be in the dark on exactly who killed Vinny.
Nevertheless, a true soap murder mystery is one in which fans are surprised, too. Days of Our Lives recently did a murder mystery of their own, which culminated in a big reveal and exposed the real killer to viewers.
THAT’S a murder mystery since it contains both a murder and a mystery for fans to solve. So far, this Liam story has neither! If this is really a Bold and the Beautiful murder mystery as the show claimed, there has to be more to it than Liam just accidentally running over Vinny.
Could a closer look at the coroner’s report show signs that Vinny was hit twice? Perhaps the first hit was by someone who actually wanted to mow Vinny down and leave him for dead.
Liam’s part in all this certainly didn’t help Vinny stay alive – nor will Liam’s cover-up help him avoid legal drama.
Still, it’d be a good twist if someone actually wanted to murder Vinny. It might also alleviate at least a little of Liam’s guilt since somebody else was determined to make sure Vinny died that night.
The murder mystery could come if it’s confirmed that someone else struck Vinny or attacked him in some way before Liam ever entered the picture.
