Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will spy a stripped-down Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) as Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) husband bares all in a horrifying encounter.
DOOL fans know Lani wasn’t thrilled over the idea of letting Chanel stay at the apartment, but Chanel managed to guilt-trip her somewhat.
Lani warned this arrangement would be temporary, but she wasn’t willing to let Chanel get thrown out on the street. Chanel is family, so Lani feels obligated to help her – especially since Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) feels like Lani could make a big difference by serving as a mentor in Chanel’s life.
It’s clear that Chanel’s got a lot of growing up to do, but Lani’s already trying to dish out some tough love and help put Chanel on the right track. Unfortunately, Lani’s decision to let Chanel crash on the sofa will come with some consequences.
Days spoilers say Eli’s in for a shock when he has a run-in with Chanel. Eli will be naked when this run-in happens, so it sounds like Chanel will inadvertently cross paths with him when he’s coming out of the shower.
Of course, Chanel already commented on Eli’s attractiveness when they first met. Chanel thinks Lani did quite well for herself when she chose Eli as her husband!
Although Chanel probably wouldn’t consider making any kind of intentional move on Eli, she probably won’t mind the view once this accidental encounter happens.
Chanel may apologize and act like it’s no big deal, but Eli will no doubt fume over the intrusion. He’ll likely complain to Lani and insist she needs to help Chanel get a place of her own ASAP.
Eli might even be willing to pitch in on Chanel’s job hunt himself – just to make sure she has some money saved up and can get out of the apartment!
However, Days spoilers say Chanel will bond with the twins while she’s living with Eli and Lani. That could mean Chanel will wind up taking the nanny gig after all, so that could leave her hanging around indefinitely.
DOOL viewers will see Chanel confide in Lani during the week of May 17-21 and strengthen their connection as well, so there’ll be some big family developments happening. As other Days news comes in, we’ll pass along updates.
