Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, May 28, teases that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will get some heartbreaking news while Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) makes a move-in plea to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will also take the steamy next step in their relationship, so Here’s what Days viewers can look forward to on Friday’s DOOL episode.
For starters, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) may spend a little more time trying to explain her thought process to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Brady was appalled at the idea of hiring Xander, but Nicole will hope she can change his mind.
Nicole’s cheating secret will spill unless she can lock in a job for Xander at Basic Black, but Brady will struggle to understand why Nicole would want this.
Xander will reconvene with Nicole later and wonder how things went with Brady. Whether Nicole manages to get a firm yes from Brady or not, she’ll be on the right track.
It looks like Xander will indeed start work at Basic Black soon, so that’ll bring some intriguing drama this summer.
In the meantime, Xander will want to set himself up with a new place to live. Jack will enjoy some father-daughter bonding scenes with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) before Xander shows up.
Xander will hope he can count on a big favor from Jack. It turns out Xander will want to move in, so Jack will give it some thought and ultimately agree during the week ahead.
Gwen will run into Xander on Friday’s DOOL episode, so they may see each other while he’s there making this request. Since Xander and Gwen will be living under the same roof soon, could that bring a chance at some steaminess?
Time will tell, but there may be some clashing initially since Gwen and Xander have such strong personalities.
As for Gwen, she’ll meet up with Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) again and perhaps try to wiggle out of the courier role she’s been forced into. Gwen doesn’t want to be Dr. Snyder’s “bloody drug mule,” but Dr. Snyder will refuse to let Gwen out of their arrangement. He’ll rev up the pressure and make Gwen worried about what’ll happen if she goes against his wishes.
Gwen doesn’t want Jack or Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) in the loop on the true timing of her baby loss, so she’ll keep delivering all those drugs for Dr. Snyder.
Over with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi, they’ll have a tough conversation about Kate Roberts DiMera’s (Lauren Koslow) memory issues and sudden blindness.
Under the circumstances, Jake won’t feel comfortable bailing on Kate anytime soon. He’ll want to support Kate through this, but distraught Gabi may wonder what Jake will do if Kate’s sight never returns.
Jake won’t have all the answers, but he’ll know he loves Gabi and will hope things will work themselves out in time.
However, Kate is actually pulling a dirty trick on Jake and Gabi since she’s perfectly fine. Dr. Snyder will soon realize that, but Kate will push the doc to keep that news to himself and will blackmail him to make sure he does.
Until then, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will console Kate at her bedside, so she’ll be willing to fool her own son as part of this elaborate revenge strategy.
Kate’s only real goal will be to make Jake and Gabi feel pain, but she’ll enjoy every minute of it. Back with Nicole, she’ll see that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) escaped when she takes a look at her tablet.
Nicole will read all the latest updates before getting a visit from a fuming Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney).
Sami saw Nicole going in Xander’s suite, so she’ll want to find out what Nicole told Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) about the night.
Allie won’t know much other than Nicole said she got drunk and slept it off in a hotel room. Besides, Allie may suspect trouble and clam up since Sami will be so nosy!
Regardless, Sami will have no intention of letting this go and will take her betrayal accusations to Nicole’s face soon enough. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami will push for the truth and hope Nicole admits to cheating on Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) with Xander.
Nicole should act like that’s crazy talk and urge Sami to mind her own business, but Sami will keep at it and hope she can somehow score the proof she needs.
Days spoilers also point to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) hitting the sheets, so stay tuned to see them kick their romance up a notch.
