General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may be poised to say goodbye to “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Nina may choose Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) over “Mike” after Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) plays dirty to ensure grandma time.
Jax has really been fed up with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) lately since she’s embracing her role as the new mob queen in town.
As Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) quipped on the pier recently, Carly was involved in two shootouts in one day! She was pulling the strings on the first one and directly in the line of fire in the second one.
None of what’s happened lately will ease Jax’s mind when it comes to Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) safety.
It looks like Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will be kidnapped or has perhaps been snatched already since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) needs a way to keep Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) in line.
Jax is going to be spooked about something equally terrible or worse happening to Josslyn.
General Hospital spoilers say Jax will become increasingly determined to protect Joss. Josslyn’s safety will be Jax’s priority, so he’ll do whatever he has to do. There’s a good chance Jax’s desire to keep Josslyn safe will be a factor in the threat he’s about to make.
During the week of June 7-11, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will feel trapped by Jax. GH fans can expect Jax to leave Michael feeling cornered somehow – and soon after, Nina will get a phone call regarding some good news.
Then, Michael will report back to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) about his disturbing encounter with Jax. Carly will also have a heated confrontation with Jax in the aftermath of his faceoff with Michael, so what does all that mean?
It may indicate that Jax will toss around some threats and suggest that a judge might side with Nina in a custody battle.
Jax might argue that there’s a legitimate risk to Wiley now that Carly’s an out of control mobster and not considering her family’s safety.
Maybe Jax will somehow try to spin this so that Carly sees how serious he is. Jax’s goal may be ensuring Josslyn’s protection and scoring a firm promise of Wiley time for Nina as well.
If Michael and Carly can’t come through, Jax might vow to help Nina score custody of Wiley.
All of this lines up with summer preview info for Nina, which says she’ll have to make a choice between Sonny and a major victory back in Port Charles. It’d be a big win if Nina was guaranteed a spot in Wiley’s life again.
That might be too tempting to Nina to pass up, so we could be building to Nina’s farewell to Sonny.
Of course, that could bring the potential for Sonny to follow Nina back home and stir up all kinds of trouble! This storyline is far from over, but a complicated new chapter is about to play out.
