General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will return to Port Charles, so could she discover that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) bio dad?
GH writers have teased the possibility ever since Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) made her debut, but the timing might finally be right for this story.
Since the math added up for Curtis to potentially be Trina’s father, he questioned Portia about it early on. Portia was adamant that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) was indeed Trina’s dad, but she’s lied before and might be lying again.
No one would really blame Portia for wanting to keep the secret buried after all these years.
However, Stella is one relentless woman! If there’s a secret to uncover, Stella is always right there waiting to make it her business. We also know Trina found an ancestry match in Port Charles that was never revealed, so there are some good reasons to revisit this Curtis paternity idea.
Trina has softened toward Curtis and actually feels bad about the way things have turned out in his marriage. A relationship is starting to develop, so it’d be easy for the show to turn that into one between a father and a daughter.
Since Taggert is back from the fake dead and has been reconnecting with Trina, a bio dad bomb would be a great shot of drama for this story. Taggert will certainly always have a place in Trina’s heart, but Curtis deserves to know the truth if Trina is indeed his daughter.
As tough as the news would be to hear, Trina deserves the truth, too.
If anyone could crack a case like this, it’s Stella. General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will get a special visitor who checks in on June 7. It should be a big Stella surprise since she pops up in June 8 spoilers as well.
That’s when Stella will corner Portia to see just how involved she is in Curtis’ life.
Since Stella will be quizzing Portia and acting nosy as usual, this could set up some digging. Will Portia find out a biological father shocker? Could Curtis be Trina’s bio dad? As other GH updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
