General Hospital Spoilers: Wes Ramsey Offers No Exit Statement or Interview – Peter's Alive, Not Gone Yet

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Wes Ramsey (Peter August) still hasn’t offered an exit statement or interview to confirm his character’s death or his departure, so it certainly looks like Peter is alive and isn’t gone yet. This is unusual when you look at other exits that have happened in recent months.

In fact, it was already suspicious that there’d been no buzz about Peter’s exit building up to this staircase tumble. When an actor is on his way out at GH, there are usually rumblings about it beforehand.

That wasn’t the case with Ramsey. General Hospital insiders have actually been predicting he’d stick around, so that lines up with Peter surviving as well.

Of course, we also have to consider how murky the details surrounding Peter’s death were. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) said, “I think he’s gone.” You “think,” Liz?! Why have a qualified nurse say something like that?

The whole thing was strange since Peter was bleeding in a stairwell that’ll surely be searched – yet Liz insisted no one would ever know Peter was dead. If Liz and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) moved Peter, it must’ve brought some challenges.

Plenty of fans are struggling to make sense of how Finn and Liz even pulled that off.

Regardless, there’s a difference in not being able to find a pulse and seeing a cold body in the morgue like with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). The writers wanted to leave no doubt in our minds that Franco was dead and gone.

Soon after Franco took his last breath, Howarth gave an interview to clarify his status and prepare fans for the new chapter.

We’ve also seen people like Emme Rylan (ex-Lulu Spencer) and William deVry (ex-Julian Jerome) confirm their exits in the aftermath and thank fans for going on the ride with them.

Ramsey’s silence seems telling under the circumstances. Without any kind of confirmation on Peter’s death or departure, it’s perhaps safe to assume Peter’s story isn’t over yet.

Peter will likely turn up alive and well following a secret recovery somewhere. This exit feels way too unclear and wouldn’t be all that satisfying if it actually stuck.
