Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) may get himself arrested for Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) murder. We could see Xander fight to keep Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) out of trouble once all the drug drama goes horribly wrong. Let’s consider what we know so far.
Xander recently paid Dr. Snyder a visit at the hospital, where he threatened bodily harm if the doc didn’t leave Gwen alone. Dr. Snyder tried to play it cool, but he was worried enough to call Gwen and tell her to make Xander back off.
Dr. Snyder just wants Gwen the mule to keep making deliveries and doesn’t need the added complication of Xander the brute bothering him.
However, Xander won’t back down, especially when he witnesses Dr. Snyder trying to intimidate Gwen. During the week of June 21-25, Days spoilers say Xander will rush to Gwen’s defense against Dr. Snyder.
This will probably involve a crucial scene from DOOL’s summer promo, which featured Xander attacking Dr. Snyder by putting him in a chokehold.
This tricky situation will be escalating, which Days spoilers suggest isn’t a good sign for Dr. Snyder’s future. Whether Xander’s responsible or perhaps Gwen’s to blame instead, Dr. Snyder will probably end up dead.
A corpse will be disposed of and ultimately discovered in the lake this summer. There’ll be signs of foul play as this becomes a murder investigation, so all signs point to Dr. Snyder being the victim.
Naturally, that doesn’t offer a full picture of what’ll happen to Dr. Snyder. It could very well be an accident after a fight spirals out of control. Regardless, it’s not going to look that way once the evidence starts to surface.
Xander might fear Gwen will wind up going down for this and refuse to let that happen.
Not only will Xander develop feelings for Gwen, she’s the daughter of his best mate, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). Xander also feels sorry for Gwen since she suffered the loss of a child, so he’ll have some great reasons to take all the blame.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will work hard to make sure someone pays for killing and dumping a dead body, so he’ll want to make an arrest.
If Xander gets taken into custody for Dr. Snyder’s murder as expected, he may do his best to leave Gwen out of the deadly story and any cover-up they’ve both carried out.
Gwen’s involvement might be exposed anyway, but at least she’d know Xander cares and is in her corner!
