The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of June 14-18 teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) seems poised to score a big win while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) sounds the Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) alarm. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will also let sparks fly, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Sally will visit Los Angeles on a mission to get what she wants. Eric Forrester (John McCook) will hear Sally’s pitch to score the creative director job for Summer Newman (Hunter King) at Marchetti in Italy. After Eric agrees to mull it over, Sally will head home and await his call.
Eric will indeed get in touch with Sally again via video chat – and Summer will likely get one of her own. It looks like Eric will pull some strings and make sure Summer gets that offer soon enough.
In the meantime, Summer will find Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in a compromising situation – no doubt one involving Tara!
We’ll also see Phyllis offer a stern warning regarding Kyle’s former flame. Phyllis won’t trust Tara at all, so she’ll make it clear that Summer needs to keep a close eye on her.
As for Ashland, he’ll lean on Victoria after explaining that he only has six months to live due to his small-cell lung carcinoma.
Victoria will respond with compassion and will let herself get swept up in the moment with Ashland. Will the two of them surrender to temptation in Victoria’s New York hotel suite?
Regardless, Victoria will want to stay close to Ashland and help him make the most of these final months of his life.
Over with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), they’ll reach a mutual decision after a heart-to-heart. This will bring a pact that could provoke Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) fury if Adam and Sharon aren’t careful.
It’s obvious Sharon and Adam have some boundary issues, so viewers can expect more problems.
Other Y&R spoilers say Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will have a confession to make. There’s a good chance that’ll be about the baby’s gender.
Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) plans to wait until the baby’s born to find out, but Mariah might admit to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) or even Abby herself that she already knows.
This could lead to Mariah spilling whether it’s a boy or girl – perhaps as a distraction from all the dangerous drama that’ll be going on. Abby will be worried sick after a scary phone call from Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) that gets cut off.
Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) should add to Abby’s worries with the updates she passes along afterward.
After Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) gets stunning news from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and puts Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) on her father’s murder case, Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) will explode.
There’ll be a heated battle between Naya and her daughter since Amanda will refuse to let the past rest.
Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will grow increasingly concerned about Victoria’s interest in Ashland while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) gives Kyle some useful guidance.
We’ll also see Elena Dawson (Brynti Sarpy) drop some hints to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and try to reignite some passion between them.
Elena clearly wants Nate to give her a reason to stay in Genoa City and turn down that Baltimore job. Will Nate take the bait?
