General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) may seduce Austin (Roger Howarth) and cheat to force Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to move on. This could be Ava’s drastic plan to end her marriage and protect Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
GH fans know Ava finally decided she couldn’t keep risking her young daughter’s safety. The stalker is getting too close, so Ava made it clear that a clean break from Nikolas was needed. However, Nikolas put up quite a fight and will continue to do so.
Ava argued that Nikolas should leave while she still loved him. She warned that if Nikolas tried to stay, she’d do whatever it took to be free of him.
Even so, Nikolas argued that this split wasn’t forever. He assured Ava that he wouldn’t give up on her, them or their family.
That’s going to be a problem for Ava since the stalker wants her away from Nikolas permanently. Since Ava alluded to going to great lengths to push Nikolas away, it makes sense that she might betray her husband in another man’s bed.
Ava might want to rile Nikolas up enough to turn against her, which would keep him at a distance and ensure Avery’s protection. It would also prove to the stalker that Ava’s moving on and urging Nikolas to do the same.
Naturally, that means Ava will need another man to hook up with! There aren’t that many options around Port Charles, so Ava may have to turn to some fresh blood. General Hospital spoilers say Ava will cross paths with Austin during the week of June 28-July 2.
That could put Austin on Ava’s radar ahead of another disturbing incident that’s set to happen – one that’ll cause Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to investigate at the gallery.
Ava may see that she has to show the stalker that she’s done with Nikolas completely. What better way to do that than sleeping with another guy?
Perhaps Ava will seduce Austin and infuriate Nikolas with a bedroom betrayal. Will that be enough to end this marriage and make Ava’s stalker problem go away?
It seems likely this stalker is none other than a Spencer Cassadine recast, so that should complicate this romantic mess down the road.
