General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) have a fireworks surprise coming up, so could a new romance be brewing after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) puts Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) first?
GH fans know there’s a common theme when it comes to Jason and his relationships. Jason is always going to make the Corinthos clan his priority, especially now that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is out of the picture.
It’s clear that Jason feels obligated to step up for Carly and her family, but sometimes that means making sacrifices. Jason will indeed make one when he resolves to marry Carly for the sake of the family and the organization.
The Jason and Carly wedding will be a show of strength and unity to the mob, but it’ll also put the kibosh on Jason and Britt’s blooming love – at least for now. Of course, new love is often just around the corner!
It turns out Jax will be feeling blue following Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) rejection when he runs into Britt.
Jax and Britt will have a pleasant conversation at Charlie’s, which will lead to them making some Fourth of July plans. Independence Day will bring some fireworks celebrations, so Britt and Jax will decide to attend one together.
General Hospital spoilers say Jax and Britt will want to watch the beautiful show in the sky on July 5, so this could bring a fresh romantic path for both of them. Will Jason’s loss be Jax’s gain?
Time will tell, but it’s certainly interesting that Britt and Jax will be bonding over a fun activity. Fireworks aren’t inherently romantic, but they’re often used on soaps when a love story’s underway.
There’s no guarantee Britt and Jax will have some big meaningful relationship, but they could comfort each other during a difficult time. Some hookups might happen – just like when Britt used to hit the sheets with Julian Jerome (William deVry).
Naturally, this could brew into something more if that’s how GH writers want to take things.
