General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may fight over stepmom Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and the confusing marriage their kids will be forced to accept. This could set up a new blended family challenge that Sam isn’t going to approve of.
During the week of July 12-16, GH spoilers say Sam will find herself questioning her ex’s motives. She may get updates on Jason’s marriage decision and wonder why this is really happening.
Sam may suspect this has something to do with mob danger, but another part of her may wonder if there’s a deeper reason.
After all, Jason has been more loyal to Carly than Sam for quite some time! However, Jason will no doubt argue that this marriage is for show. This is about making a bold statement that’ll prove to Carly and Jason’s enemies that they’re united as one.
Of course, Sam may still be rather jealous under the circumstances. She should also worry about the kids and how they’re going to be affected by this news.
Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) was probably hoping his parents would get back together sooner or later, so he may be disappointed over Jason marrying Carly.
Not to mention it’ll just be weird for Jason to tie the knot with Carly out of the blue.
Both Danny and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) may express confusion over whether Jason’s in love with Carly. It’ll surely seem sudden when Jason and Carly become husband and wife out of nowhere.
Sam will also have to deal with the fact that Carly – the unapologetic mob queen herself – is now sliding in the stepmother role.
Jason is Danny’s dad and has served as a fill-in father to Scout since Drew Cain’s (soon-to-be Cameron Mathison) presumed death.
Although Jason doesn’t spend a ton of time with the kids now that Sam’s created some distance, he hasn’t been cut out completely.
Once Carly’s added to the picture, Sam may have another reason to fear mob danger and the possibility that it’ll trickle down to the children. Danny and Scout could become bigger targets once Jason and Carly are standing together as a couple.
Whatever the case, Jason and Sam will have to hash things out since this Carly marriage is happening whether Sam likes it or not!
