The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will get an Italy reunion and a happily ever after love story ending – at least based on what we know so far. Having Kyle join Summer in Milan makes the most sense for how this couple will exit.
King already bid farewell to Genoa City after facing Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) ultimatum.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) arranged for Summer to get the opportunity of a lifetime as the creative director of Marchetti.
All Tara had to do was force Summer to dump Kyle and accept the position halfway around the world.
Of course, Kyle can’t make sense of Summer’s abrupt change of heart about their marriage. He’s struggling to believe his relationship with Summer is really over – and thankfully, it doesn’t have to be.
Michael Mealor is leaving Y&R along with Hunter King according to SOD’s insiders, so Y&R can offer a happy ending. They have the perfect chance to send “Skyle” out on a positive note by having Kyle join his true love.
Kyle can discover Tara threatened Summer into calling off their engagement and leaving the country.
That’ll certainly change the game for Kyle, who’d go to the ends of the earth for Summer and will surely fly to her as quickly as possible.
Kyle and Summer can ride off into the sunset together once the truth comes to light.
Naturally, it’d be nice to get some final romantic “Skyle” scenes, so maybe Hunter King will pop up again for the reunion ahead of Michael Mealor’s last airdate.
There’s no word on when that last airdate might be, but we’ll bring you updates as other news comes in.
Kyle has a son to think about – at least if the DNA test results were accurate. However, Kyle can figure things out when it comes to Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).
There’s no way Kyle will stay away from Summer once he knows the whole story, so a “Skyle” reunion in Italy seems like the right exit strategy.
