General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) could eventually find himself locked up at Pentonville. Will Nikolas finally pay for Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) shooting and Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) suffering?
Nikolas has been letting Shawn rot behind bars for a crime he set in motion himself, so his day of reckoning seems to be in the works.
Of course, Nikolas will work hard to make sure no one ever finds out he ordered the hit that led to Hayden’s coma. He’ll be determined to keep his terrible secret under wraps.
Unfortunately, Nikolas’ secret is bound to get out anyway! He may even end up adding to his list of crimes as he tries to cover up his old ones.
It looks like Nikolas already arranged to have Shawn’s parole denied, though that didn’t do him much good since Shawn’s freedom is imminent.
GH spoilers say Nikolas will resort to drastic action since he’ll have so much to lose.
Nikolas fully believes he’s going to reunite with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) – and Nikolas has just reunited with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), too.
Nikolas doesn’t want to lose his cushy lifestyle or his loved ones, but he could indeed lose both if he lands at Pentonville.
This could be another obstacle for Ava and Nikolas somewhere down the line.
Perhaps right as Nikolas and Ava are finally ready to get their love story back on track, the truth about Hayden’s shooting will come out – leaving Nikolas bound for a prison cell.
It could lead to a forced separation for “Nava” and lead to more time apart from Spencer as well.
That’d be tough considering Nikolas has missed out on so many years with Spencer already. Nikolas will be livid once the stalker truth comes out, but that doesn’t mean he’ll shut his son out of his life forever.
A prison storyline might actually draw out some painful emotions and bring Nikolas back together with Spencer – at least through plexiglass!
As we’ve seen with characters like Shawn and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) lately, it’s perfectly possible to be shipped off to the slammer and still have a storyline on the show.
Nikolas wouldn’t have to exit and could hopefully find some legal loophole to wiggle out of trouble sooner or later.
