The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may search for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and vow to reunite Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) with her daughter. Will this serve as the next big Newman hero moment for Adam?
Adam’s certainly been doing some heroic things in recent months – like rescuing Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) after her accident, helping Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) after the tornado disaster and donating a kidney to save Faith’s life.
Adam has been on a better path, so the show’s using all these moments of heroism to highlight that.
Of course, they’re also being used to pull Adam closer to Sharon. There’s still a spark between these two, so having Adam get involved in the Mariah search is the perfect way to build on it.
Mariah has obviously been kidnapped, so it’s just a matter of time until those texts aren’t enough.
When Mariah doesn’t show up for her next OB-GYN appointment as promised, that should be a huge tipoff that something is seriously wrong.
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) might demand that Mariah call her and confirm in her own voice what’s going on.
When Mariah doesn’t do that, it should be enough to prove she’s truly been abducted. Y&R fans know Mariah wouldn’t be so cruel, so panic should set in all over again.
The cops will get involved, but it may take more than that to find Mariah. Adam could easily step up with any Newman resources he can offer along with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
They’ll both be invested in this since Mariah’s carrying precious Newman cargo, too.
This affects Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), so that’s one more reason to help locate Mariah and make sure Abby’s baby stays safe.
Mariah’s unborn child is a Newman – and Newmans look out for one another! However, we can’t ignore how Adam always rides to Sharon’s rescue.
Helping Sharon will no doubt be Adam’s priority in all this – and Sharon will be unbelievably grateful if Adam comes through with a major lead or even tracks Mariah down.
There’s a good chance Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) is guilty of snatching Mariah, so maybe Adam will play a role in figuring that out and exposing the truth.
Regardless, Adam could come through for Sharon once again and reunite her with Mariah after this kidnapping chaos.
