Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 21, teases that bridezilla Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will slap Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) before Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) referees. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will also comfort a rejected Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), so here’s what viewers can expect.
First, Days spoilers say Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will head out on an apology tour. She’ll pay Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) a visit to express how sorry she is for her deception and threat to the Horton family legacy.
Of course, Julie may wonder if Paulina’s sorry enough to call off the demolition and scrap her Price Town project!
It turns out Paulina might be leaning in that direction since she’ll have some important updates for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Many DOOL fans are rooting for Paulina to do the right thing and try to make amends.
At Lani and Eli’s apartment, Eli will parade around in a towel again. It looks like Chanel will joke around by wearing a blindfold this time to avoid seeing too much.
However, Eli should realize Chanel’s a bit blue despite her teasing. Chanel will share some of the struggles she’s been facing with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), who got her hopes up about pursuing a romance only to choose Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) instead.
After Chanel opens up to Eli about the sting of rejection, he’ll offer sympathy and guidance when she needs it most.
Days spoilers say Chanel will embrace Eli as they continue to strengthen their bond.
As for Chanel and Allie, they’ll do their best to get their friendship back on track when they run into each other. This will bring a run-in with Paulina as well, so she may share that there’s hope for Sweet Bits Bakery after all.
Meanwhile, Claire will try to get through to Ciara before her wedding kicks off. Claire may acknowledge that Ciara’s probably afraid she’ll remember if she doesn’t marry Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) ASAP.
Even so, Claire may argue that it’s downright cruel to make her new anniversary the same as the one she shared with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Ciara won’t think this is any of Claire’s business and will get into a heated argument with her.
The result will be Ciara slapping Claire across the face, so Shawn will have to intervene. Ciara will demand her perfect Theo wedding and won’t want Claire getting in the way!
Shawn will end up hugging Ciara as he tries to support her ahead of the ceremony.
As for Claire, she’ll head for Ben’s apartment and do some scheming with him. Allie will join in as they come together to make sure Theo and Ciara’s big day gets derailed.
Until then, Abe will try to shut this wedding down before it ever happens. He just won’t think it’s a good idea for Ciara to rush into new nuptials – particularly on this wedding date that’s so tied to her past with Ben.
Abe will encourage Theo to slow things down and hold off until another date down the road, but Theo will stick to Ciara’s wishes and plan to make his bride happy.
Julie will also have a special gift for Ciara before the ceremony begins, so there’ll be a lot going on in Wednesday’s action-packed DOOL episode. We’ll fill you in as other Days news emerges.
