The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 26-30 teases that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will face a tough Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) choice while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) plot against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). We’ll also see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) chase a new clue, so here’s what fans can expect.
First, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will meet back up with Phyllis for a strategy session. They’ll hope they can make progress on Sally and Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) takedown, but it won’t be easy since Tara and Sally are such slippery characters.
Nevertheless, a trap will be set for Sally, so she’ll have to be careful if she wants to keep her Summer Newman (Hunter King) secrets under wraps.
Speaking of Summer, she’ll have a wonderful visit with her grandparents.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will check on Summer in Italy, where she’ll pretend she’s fine when she’s really not.
Summer’s doing her best to put on a brave face and make it seem like she’s thriving in Milan, but she’s still in a lot of pain. She’s also worried about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), who continues to be manipulated by his former flame.
Kyle will find himself in a position where he has to defend Tara, so that might be against Billy’s accusations.
Back with Sally, she’ll get a big surprise courtesy of Jack. Will that be a pleasant one or an unpleasant one? Y&R may want to build Sally up a bit more before her world comes crashing down, so Jack might plant a kiss.
Then again, it could be a situation where Jack puts Sally on the spot and forces her to lie to his face.
Whatever the case, Phyllis and Sally have another tense faceoff brewing. We’ll see Phyllis insist in no uncertain terms that she’s not backing down from this fight.
While Phyllis pursues a new lead, Jack will make a difficult choice. It sounds like Jack will feel the need to decide if he’s all in or all out when it comes to Sally.
Jack may not think it’s fair to lead Sally on if he can’t fully trust her, but there’s still a piece of him that’s quite drawn to the feisty redhead.
Other Y&R spoilers say Adam will give Chelsea an ultimatum she’s not going to like.
Chelsea may not approve of Adam visiting Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) – or perhaps Chelsea will be slacking off when it comes to her outpatient care.
It’s clear that Chelsea still needs mental help, so Adam may make sure she gets it and insist that he must remain a stable presence in Connor’s life.
Chelsea will be seen on some video chats – and it seems that’ll include one with Chloe. Look for Chloe and Chelsea to do some scheming against Adam in the coming episodes.
In the meantime, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will give Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) a warm welcome back to Genoa City.
Sharon will no doubt be glad Rey’s home so she can distract herself from the old Adam feelings she’s battling.
Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll put Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) to the test following her unsettling discovery.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also force Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) to wait in suspense, so maybe a romantic surprise is looming.
Something tells us Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) could pop up again to cause some date night drama!
As for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), he’ll fret over Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) still being MIA.
After Devon and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) discuss the missing surrogate, Devon will make a huge decision with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) – one that involves a significant step in their relationship.
It appears Amanda will agree to move in Devon’s penthouse, so this will bring them closer and set them up for a real future together.
Of course, another obstacle always seems to be just around the corner in GC. It’ll be interesting to see what lands in Devon and Amanda’s path next!
