Despite Victor’s congratulatory words following the engagement announcement, big trouble’s brewing. Victor will get a clue that things perhaps aren’t as they seem with Ashland, so he’ll grow suspicious and start digging.
When it comes to his children and grandchildren, Y&R fans know Victor is extremely protective. He may not always handle difficult situations the way that he should, but he loves his family and doesn’t stand for anyone causing them pain.
Victor will pick up on a hint that makes him suspect Ashland somehow, so he won’t rest until he uncovers the truth. Victoria’s future depends on it!
Victoria’s all set to marry Ashland, but she won’t if Victor can score proof that Ashland is faking his terminal cancer illness.
That seems like the most logical thing for Victor to uncover since Ashland’s sudden “I’m dying” story has always been iffy.
Ashland may be seeking treatment now, but he could easily be paying his medical team to back up his story to Victoria.
Victor bribed Dr. Hedges (Michael Bofshever), so Ashland could be bribing some doctors of his own!
This could turn into a race to stop Victoria from marrying a monster – one who’s potentially pretending he has small-cell lung carcinoma and trying to steal Newman Enterprises.
Will Victor be the one who destroys the big day with good intentions?
Victoria wants a grand celebration, but this wedding could turn into a nightmare if Victor’s hunch about Ashland being bad news proves accurate.
There’s no way Victor can stand by and let Victoria say heartfelt vows to Ashland, so he may voice his objection before she actually says “I do.”
One way or another, Ashland and Victoria’s nuptials will probably become a total disaster.
