Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will have a tempting offer for Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) while Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) seems poised to declare love for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Nicole Brady’s sad reality will also be on full display – and it won’t be pretty!
During the week of August 16-20, Days spoilers say Nicole will be a weepy mess of emotions. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will check on Nicole, who’ll struggle to find the strength to get out of her pajamas or even out of bed.
The reality of losing Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will hit Nicole hard, so she’ll lean on Rafe as Belle Brady (Martha Madison) handles the preliminary paperwork for the divorce.
EJ will eventually voice his gratitude to Nicole for exposing Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) cheating – and he’ll hope to strike a deal that could benefit them both.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will also head back to Salem and get an offer to become part of the DiMera world. EJ will want to bring his son on board at DiMera Enterprises, but Johnny won’t be so sure that’s the kind of career he wants.
Nevertheless, EJ will think it’s a great idea and will push Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to talk Johnny into it.
Johnny will also cross paths with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and become rather smitten right off the bat.
There’ll be some serious flirting going on, so Chanel will tell Allie about the new guy she met. Neither one of them will realize Chanel’s talking about Allie’s twin brother!
Johnny will eventually share some scenes with Allie, who’ll be happy to reconnect after all this time. As for Sami, there’ll be questions swirling around her disappearance.
DOOL fans will hear about some texts sent from Sami’s phone – and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will be the one who finds Sami’s dropped necklace.
Over with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal), she’ll give Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) the breakup news and fall back into bed with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) – this time in a state of undress.
Ben and Ciara will also become husband and wife again before the week’s over, so their romance will be on the right track again.
Look for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) to make a speedy exit after a special opportunity proves too enticing to pass up. Both Claire and Theo will head for South Africa as they wrap up their runs.
Across town, Xander will have a rough week after he’s kicked out of the Horton house and promptly arrested.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will take Xander into custody after he takes the drug courier fall, so he’ll hope Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) appreciates his sacrifice!
During the week of August 23-27, Xander’s luck just might turn around. EJ will have a proposal for Xander to mull over, so Xander should be out on bail or could perhaps get the charges dropped.
Whatever the case, money talks when it comes to Xander, so EJ might offer a high-paying job or at least a substantial amount of cash.
It’ll be interesting to see what EJ expects in return for his generosity, but he’ll need it to be worth his while.
Back with Rafe, he’ll get into a heated argument with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). As Ava’s jealousy grows, she won’t be able to hold her tongue anymore when it comes to Nicole.
From where Ava’s standing, it’ll no doubt seem like more than friendship is going on.
Ava may push Rafe to back off since Nicole isn’t his girlfriend – nor is cheering Nicole up his responsibility. Nevertheless, Rafe will defend the innocence of it all and perhaps act like Ava’s overreacting.
The problem is Rafe knows he has feelings for Nicole deep down, so Ava may sense that he’s lying or at least in denial.
Other Days spoilers say Tripp will make a bold declaration to Allie. It sounds like Tripp will tell Allie that he loves her, but will Allie say it back? It seems like it might be a bit soon under the circumstances.
That’s especially true since Allie’s still battling feelings for Chanel, which will keep the situation complicated in the coming episodes.
Over with Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), she’ll be thrilled when she earns forgiveness and a reunion kiss from Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
Despite Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) lingering issues with Paulina, Abe will decide he’s ready to move past Paulina’s mistakes and give her a fresh start.
Abe has fallen hard, so it’ll be a no-brainer for him to reach this decision and grow closer to Paulina again.
Unfortunately, Paulina will still be hiding the truth about Lani’s parental history. Lani is Paulina’s biological daughter, which seemingly means her father is someone other than Abe.
It’s dangerous to get back together and let a secret like this hang over their relationship like a dark cloud.
Paulina’s mom, Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs), will offer repeated warnings about that, but Paulina will stick to her reunion goal and refuse to leave town like her mom wants.
Paulina will even nearly come clean a time or two, but Olivia will shut down her daughter’s confession plans and insist Lani must remain out of the loop.
Of course, secrets always have a way of getting out in Salem, so it’s just a matter of time until Lani, Abe and Theo all learn the real story.
