General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will panic over Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) disappearance. This missing mom mystery will bring a horrible ordeal – both for Liesl and for the daughter who’ll be in the dark about what’s going on.
Britt has grown closer to Obrecht lately due to the confirmation of her Huntington’s marker. It’s allowed Britt and Liesl to connect on a deeper level and say things they’ve never said before.
That’s been the silver lining of Britt’s difficult health blow – and it should also be why Britt figures out Liesl’s missing so quickly during the week of August 30-September 3.
Britt stays in touch with Obrecht often these days, so it won’t take her long to determine something’s up. Liesl apparently won’t be answering her phone and won’t be there in Port Charles or anywhere else Britt can find her.
GH spoilers say Obrecht will do a favor for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who’ll need some assistance when it comes to sorting a few messy things out.
That may be the last contact Liesl has with anyone of significance before she vanishes.
We know from a leaked script that Obrecht will get kidnapped along with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) – and there’ll be some Greek henchmen involved.
Since Liesl invited Scott to attend a medical conference with her in St. Lucia, they could get snatched on their trip together.
Regardless, Britt will wrestle with growing concerns and could be tempted to ask Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for help.
That’s pretty much the last thing Britt will want to do since she doesn’t want to feel dependent on Jason, but this is her mother we’re talking about!
Britt can’t let this go on too long without taking action, but she might find another helper in town who can come through for her.
No matter how this plays out, Britt will want answers and will plan to get them one way or another.
