Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) may exploit Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) eventual heartbreak. Will that be how this dad pulls his son into the dangerous DiMera web?
EJ vowed to bring Johnny on board at DiMera Enterprises one way or another. It was a rather ominous statement that suggested EJ might find some weakness to prey on or some other secret weapon he could use.
There was just something about EJ’s tone and expression that pointed to trouble.
EJ has no intention of letting Johnny pursue a filmmaking career and really isn’t taking that dream seriously.
Days spoilers say Johnny will pursue his goal for a while, but EJ will count on a new strategy to pull his son away from making movies and park him behind a desk for some corporate work.
The question is: What will that strategy be? EJ has to follow up on his “one way or another” vow, so it’ll be interesting to see what he tries.
At the moment, Johnny is already falling hard for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). That’s something EJ could pick up on and use to his advantage once he knows the whole story.
Chanel obviously has deep feelings for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) that aren’t going to be resolved anytime soon.
Things may get messy if Allie finally decides Chanel is the person she wants. Chanel does seem attracted to Johnny and might try to concentrate on him just to prevent more heartache for herself.
Of course, it’s Johnny who may end up crushed over a cheating scandal. There have certainly been hints about one in behind-the-scenes DOOL info and Days spoilers.
The pain of getting cheated on seems like something EJ and Johnny could bond over – particularly cheating that’s done by Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and her daughter.
EJ might even anticipate this happening and do something to give Chanel a nudge in Allie’s direction.
We wouldn’t put it past EJ to manipulate the situation so that Johnny ends up brokenhearted – just for the sake of bonding together and pulling Johnny toward the DiMera team.
Bottom line, EJ will sink pretty low in his quest to make Johnny a DiMera Enterprises employee.
