General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will be arrested and stuck with a public defender. It looks like vengeful Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will refuse to pay for a fancy lawyer and will push for prison after Spencer finally gets busted.
According to a leaked script, Spencer will be feeling doomed as he sits across from a public defender named Diaz and introduces himself. Spencer will mention his harassment and criminal mischief before Diaz realizes he’s grabbed the wrong file.
The wrong file part will probably serve as a way to show this public defender’s inexperienced and not at all the hotshot attorney that Spencer needs.
However, Spencer won’t be able to afford quality representation on his own – and Nikolas surely won’t be keen on helping him after the whole stalker truth comes out.
Nikolas wanted to teach his son a lesson the night of the big bash at Wyndemere.
Although Nikolas obviously went too far in his twisted methods, that doesn’t mean Spencer gets a pass for his own disturbing behavior. Spencer has gone too far as well and really should’ve come clean when he had the chance.
Nikolas was hoping that by scaring Spencer, he’d help his son see the light and put him on a positive path forward.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) doubted that they could all be one big happy family, but Nikolas remained hopeful that he could indeed get his wife back and get his son back, too – the real one and not the schemer that was willing to resort to such terrible deception.
Now Spencer is digging an even bigger hole for himself. Nikolas will be furious when he realizes Spencer let his father feel guilty for getting it wrong when he actually got it right.
As for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), Spencer might take the fall for sending a minion to torch Ava’s car and plant the badge – even though that’s not what happened. Esme decided to help Spencer with those unsettling acts without his knowledge.
Spencer might try to keep Esme’s name out of all this and protect her, but he’s going to be in big trouble regardless.
It’s possible Spencer will simply refuse Nikolas’ legal help to prove a point, but it seems far more likely that Nikolas won’t be willing to offer any help at all.
Spencer may be desperate for a real lawyer who’s more qualified than this bumbling public defender, but Nikolas should be willing to feed his son to the wolves!
Whatever the case, Spencer’s going to face some legal consequences after his crimes are exposed.
