General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 31, tease that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will be tossed from the plane while Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is held hostage. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) could also have a surprise Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) clue headed her way, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
For starters, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will pitch in as Josslyn prepares a father-daughter dinner. Joss will want to spend the evening enjoying some special dishes with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), so Trina will be happy to help out.
“Trina for the win!” Josslyn declares in Tuesday’s preview video before giving her bestie a high five.
Trina might offer up the sauce she got from The Tan-O since this seems like the perfect chance to include it in the story.
One taste could bring back the familiar flavor of Sonny’s signature sauce and leave Josslyn taken aback.
While on their camping trip, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will get closer to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and make a promise to Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).
Since Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) is missing and Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham) is dead, Violet may have concerns about Finn leaving her, too.
However, Finn will do whatever it takes to make sure he’s always there for Violet – no matter what other obstacles arise.
Speaking of obstacles, trust will be one of them for Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). Jordan will realize Shawn doesn’t trust her to find out the truth and will work to convince him they can be on the same side.
Shawn and Jordan will indeed team up to get to the bottom of Hayden’s shooting, so Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will have another reason to worry.
It turns out Liesl and Scott have a reason to worry as well since their flight has gone off the rails.
Scott will continue to wonder what’s going on, but he won’t get any real answers since guards will appear and toss him out of the plane.
Liesl will remain a hostage, so this will certainly cause her deadly plans for Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to hit a snag.
Next, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will wonder if they can trust that the info contained in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) plane crash file is accurate.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) may suggest they have follow-up on their new leads regardless. Drew’s counting on Sam to track him down, so she has to do everything in her power to make that happen.
As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll talk to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) being out to settle personal scores and consider who else Cyrus might be after.
Jason and Carly need to be prepared in case Cyrus strikes once again, especially since this big mob wedding’s on the horizon.
In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will get updates on Sonny asking if Peter knew who he was.
Nina will naturally get upset and wonder why “Mike” would ask Peter that question. Although Peter didn’t spill anything about Sonny’s true identity, the close call will leave Nina fearful and flustered.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will eventually move past the Peter drama and just enjoy her first official date with “Mike,” but it’ll be hard to shake her guilt.
